I don't follow her. What did she do that everyone is so upset about? She had the audacity to sing "America the Beautiful" at Trump's inauguration yesterday. Meanwhile, I haven't seen outrage here directed towards Apple's Tim Cook or Google's Sundar Pichai for standing so closely to Trump at the ceremony. Guess it is easier to hate on a female entertainer than it is on male CEOs who literally control access to information. 🤷♀️ |

I actually thought she did very well, due to the music failing, and she shook everyone's hands. she was quite gracious .Not sure if she blew up after everything was done. who knows. but don't we all? I think it's a sketchy article. I mean..what's the reliable source and all? Just because she sold out to trump doesn't mean we have to run her totally down. I'm sure we would love too..but she did ok.

I actually thought she did a fabulous job. She was very gracious afterwards. She was also in attendance afterwards at the luncheon with her husband and she was seen speaking to Senators on both sides, shaking hands, smiling and looked like pleasant conversations, she didn't look at all like she was upset.

I always terrible for singers when their music doesn't start. She handled it beautifully in the moment. The article seems like she was more upset about where she was positioned to sing, rather than the technical difficulty. I thought it was a little awkward for everyone who had to stand so close in front of Biden.

Yeah, I saw that too after googling for it, on The Daily Mail and Celebitchy websites, super reputable place to get your facts.  I've also seen that she killed it, soared, was a class act, that is was a boss performance, etc., as well as videos showing her telling someone in charge she'll do a cappella and "just sing it." |

It is disgraceful that these extremely wealthy, powerful people have abased themselves before Trump. Musk is the worst of all; he is reveling in this. Zuck, by getting rid of fact checkers, has enabled more lies. lol, I got a warning yesterday on Threads when I referred to someone as a moron, so I guess that speech isn’t all THAT free. And trumpers are saying “This is fine!” “So what if Trump pardoned violent people?” Et cetera. This is worse than the gilded age. I hope that folks finally realize that it is important to vote; this shit is what happens when people stay home. And it will get worse. trump might not know what he’s doing, but he has people around him who do, and they have an agenda. An agenda that is not good for most of us. |
