I went and voted but can I just say that every time I see this thread title I have a craving for a really good king cake. I may have to bite the bullet and try making one.

I noticed that you can vote as often as you refresh the page. So I’ve voted about 5 times for her. I’ll keep wandering back and voting again.

She's a small, independent bakery, and is up against Rouses - a supermarket chain with hundreds of employees. We've noticed that last round, as we would ramp up voting, their numbers would jump by 40 or more almost instantly - which says to us somebody set up a voting bot of some kind. It ended up being so close!! I went straight to the comments to see if anyone had mentioned anything about suss voting, and saw this: I believe someone voting for Rouses is using a voting bot. Every time I go to vote they suddenly start voting again. In the early hours of the morning some friends and I tested this. By the time we could get 8 votes in, Rouses votes jumped 80! Eighty votes in a matter of seconds! That’s just not humanly possible. Your tech team may need to add a honeypot in the next round.
I don't know what a 'honeypot' is, but I do hope they're able to stop any bot voting next time.

Apparently its something in the background besides the captcha that can sense a bot - it's a hidden captcha form that a human wouldn't see and wouldn''t enter anything for but a bot would see it and answer it.
