I was out shopping this afternoon and noticed a clearance sticker on the Cameo for $179. None of the accessories were on sale, though, so it doesn't look like they are discontinuing sales altogether.
Is there a newer model coming out? That would make sense if they were trying to clear the shelf for an updated model. I was just a little surprised that it was on clearance.

They have already released a newer version. It's not that major of a difference, but I am sure they feel they have to clear out older stock.

Yeah I bet they're clearancing the old model. Great deal if anyone wants a cameo. The new version isn't so different to warrant paying more, in my opinion.

AAAAHHHHH!!!! You're killing me! I don't have enough gift money left to buy it for myself. Do I hit husband up and tell him we can call it my gift for next year or do I do the right thing and just wait for next year to pick one up?  |

Do I hit husband up and tell him we can call it my gift for next year or do I do the right thing and just wait for next year to pick one up? I don't think there is much of an advantage to getting the newer Cameo. Do some quick research and see if you want to wait for the new one or pick up the other one at the clearance price. I wouldn't wait too long though. |

Wow, that is a great price!!! There is not that much difference between the two Cameos, IMO! I plan on keeping my Cameo original until it breaks!

My M's only has them at the reg price of 269.00. Weird thing was, I had to ask them if they even carried the machine. Not a one on the floor. No empty box either. They are kept in the office

My local Michael's had it on sale for $199 today. I guess we won't be getting the newer model anytime soon, lol.

I went to another M's and found it on clearance and I got the cover for 3.50.  Know to figure out how to use it. |
