I'm very unfamiliar with them but considering adding one to my kitchen.
We are going to begin a total kitchen remodel soon.
Does the speed oven operate like a combination microwave and air fryer?
Do you love yours and want to share the brand & model?
Do you find that if was a great addition?
Thanks for any help & other info!

What do you like to cook and bake? How often are you reheating things? If you have an air fryer now, do you use it a lot? What other appliances will you have? (Types & brands) Speed ovens are great, but I’m partial to steam ovens. They don’t do the same things (though there is some overlap), but they take up roughly the same space so often, people are choosing between one and the other. But… everyone’s needs are different, so making a recommendation on what makes sense for you takes some context I will say it was not uncommon to hear from customers who finished kitchen builds and two years later, said they’d never used their speed oven. They weren’t mad about it, but it does seem to be something that some people think sounds great but doesn’t really fit into how they use their kitchen. So I’d be sure you actually have a plan for how you want to use before committing to one.

We installed a speed oven a couple of years ago when we did an update on our kitchen. The one we have is this one by Wolf. It's 30" wide. One reason we went with the Speed Oven is that we were downsizing from a double to a single oven. It has convection and broil capabilities that could replace that second oven on the rare occasion we might need one. Does the speed oven operate like a combination microwave and air fryer? The speed oven operates like a convection oven. Our full size oven is also a convection oven. Convection ovens and air fryers are similar but they are not the same. You will not get the exact same results as the air fryer gives. This article below will explain the differences. If you want the exact results you are getting with an air fryer, then I would skip the speed oven and stick with your countertop air fryer.

I have a Frigidaire stove with speed bake. It cuts the bake time considerably. It has the fan in the back of the oven like a convection oven. I guess it’s like an air fryer on a much bigger scale. I had never even heard of air fryers when I bought it. Have had it at least 20 years.
