I have my appt and will be doing my treatments for 6 hours, again. I've been knitting and watching TV. What's everyone up to today? What's on your menu? Dh is gnna have the chicken meatballs I made and froze. May today bring ease, contentment and smiles to all!

Holding naby64 up in prayers. The dog and I both woke up at 5. I'm not sure who woke up whom but it's going to make for a very, very long day. I've got some training in the afternoon but not a lot to do until then. I'm going to TJs at lunch to pick up some groceries. I hate grocery shopping but I love going to TJs. I'm very lucky that one opened up less than a mile from me. Hoping you all have a great day! Edited to add: Dinner will be something from TJs!

I’m babysitting grandboy #2 again today. DDIL stayed home with him yesterday. He seems much better but still gets a fever without any meds. I’m being diligent to hopefully keep from getting sick. Last night was my alphabet supper with my former work gang. I had chicken fettuccine alfredo. It was okay but nothing spectacular. One of our group is going to be a grandma in a couple weeks so we had a bit of a grandma shower for her. Next month is the letter Y. We are close to the end of the alphabet so we need to decide if we are going to start from A again or do a different theme. My heart goes out to naby64. What a shock! Supper is unknown at this point. I barely saw DH this morning so no time to discuss supper.

Thinking of naby64, and holding her up in prayer💝🙏🏻
We got a few inches of light fluffy snow last night...I was just out helping DH by clearing the driveway...probably not really necessary, however I am not sure of our forecast and don't want an ice rink out there later in the week. I am headed out to Costco and the fish market. I think dinner will be steaks or tips, whatever looks good, along with baked potato and either a salad or roasted asparagus.

Thinking of you, naby64, and hoping your are surrounded by your kids right now. I'm waiting for DH to finish packing his bag so we can figure out the extra shared bag we decided to take. Weather report is for colder (snow!) than expected, so extra boots, coats, etc., now need to come along. Usually we take the train in from the airport and limit ourselves to carry-on, but my sis is picking us up today. The big bag means I'm also throwing in my yoga mat. What can I say, it's a priority. I'm not sure how much I'll be online for the next couple weeks as we have a full schedule of visiting and adventures. Tonight is dinner with friends at an Italian restaurant and I have my eye on the prawns & scallops, but can always be distracted by a cioppino. I'm betting DH will be getting the lamb shank.

naby64 , I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. scrapmaven , I guess we gave you so much grief over the wrong date the past two days that you decided to leave it off. DS went ice skating on the ship yesterday, today they are in Roatan, Honduras, and are going on a tour of sloths, monkeys and iguanas. I would love to see the sloths. I'm going to AquaFit in a about an hour then will spend the day starting to work on taxes. Dinner will be pork chops with baked yams, we had Chinese Chicken Salad last night.

Good Morning! I, like all of you, are holding naby64 in my prayers. I am leaving the office shortly to go get my hair done. That is the one thing I make time for during this crazy work season. Today is a bright, sunny day. Supposed to be in the upper 40's. I am not complaining. Days like this, I try to escape my office for a couple of walks. Yesterday was DH's birthday. I met him and our YDS and his girlfriend for a late dinner. It was a nice evening. Hoping everyone has a wonderful day!

Good evening all, It’s been a long, busy day. We were all up early, as my friend and her daughter had to leave at 7:40 to get to school on time. My friend then went to her German course for the morning, then the court hearing was at 1pm. I decided as I was already up and I was picking the daughter up from school at 4 (required me leaving home at 3:20), to make our dinner early so it was ready to go. DS messaged me and sent some photos from his FiL’s funeral. Here is my precious, giving her little eulogy for her nonno While I was on the way to do the school pickup, another friend who went to court messaged to say they had just finished and ‘it was a good day’. They were then going to get food and decompress after it all. S and I have made a batch of cookies since we’ve been home, so we can celebrate. I don’t know exactly what the ruling was, but ‘good day’ ‘big relief’ and ‘we won’ are enough for me! Dinner is vegetarian stuffed peppers, and cookies of course! naby64 - thinking of you and your family and sending big virtual hugs.

Good morning everyone! We are having a second dreary, foggy/hazy day here. Apparently scrapmaven not only brought rain, she brought along the infamous SF fog! We don't normally have all day hazy here. More storms tomorrow but then they are predicting a sunny weekend and highs in the mid 70s! I'm taking the day off from the hospital run and getting a facial this afternoon. I'll follow that with a visit to the new Barnes & Noble that's right next door to my facialist. DH encouraged me to take a day so I agreed. He is so busy with PT and OT that we don't have much time to actually visit lately anyway! The progress he is making is amazing and we are seeing a shift in his attitude as well. One more week and he's back home! Thinking of naby64 and her family as they deal with the sudden loss of her DH. (((hugs))) Absolutely no clue what dinner will be tonight. I'll forage in the pantry and freezer to see what I can come up with.

Well, Trader Joe's was a big money suck as always. I went in looking for two things I had at my sisters and walked out with $85 worth of groceries! I'm single and although I do make dinner for my parents a few times a week, I just can't help myself there. Oh well, no more Door Dash for awhile
Dinner will be shrimp lo-mein and veggie nests.

I have my appt and will be doing my treatments for 6 hours, again. I've been knitting and watching TV. 6 hours is a long treatment. But it's worth it if you're feeling better. Just thought I'd ask about the headache? Has it gone away? Weather report is for colder (snow!) than expected, so extra boots, coats, etc., now need to come along. I must have missed you are traveling. To BC? Cold and snowy? Here is my precious, giving her little eulogy for her nonno She is just the sweetest. Tearisci, I can top you, I was up at 4 today! Haha... I'm normally up at 5 so 4 isn't a huge stretch. But I drank my coffee and then I sewed for a while. I even logged in about an hour later for work this morning just because I was deep into sewing and with the way the world has been the past week or so, I needed a bit of a release. I posted my progress on the Daylesford quilt thread. I wanted to make some tofu and rice lettuce wraps last night. But the lettuce leaves were so small it was impossible to wrap anything. So I basically just turned it into a salad. LOL! Today I have a food box coming but I can't remember what I ordered. There will be food, though. Maybe not for Jeremy. He's got a stomach virus that has been kicking his ass since Monday night. I'm trying not to get it.

This morning I found out a lot of the people in the pool don't eat breakfast first. Then they get home and are ravenous and start eating *stuff*. It was very cold out but the hour left me invigorated. It's supposed to be nasty on Friday so I might go tomorrow instead.

I get up at 5 and usually don't eat breakfast until around 10. Maybe 9-9:30 on occasion. I know weightloss isn't a thing for you, but I have heard it helps with metabolism to exercise in the morning before you eat.

jeremysgirl have you ever grilled romaine lettuce? One of our local restaurants does that in the summer more often than now and oh my gosh it’s so delicious. I get home from Florida on Monday and it’s been very cold here in Western New York. Had a good trip. It was kind of chilly in Florida so hopefully when I go back in a couple of weeks, it’ll be even warmer.

I am actually trying to lose about 5 lbs. as my pants are getting a bit tight. But they were all saying that any calories they burned in the pool, they ate a ridiculous amount of stuff when they got home because they were so hungry. I can see if you get up early and work out but not eating anything until 10:30-11 would not work for me.

Tearisci , I can top you, I was up at 4 today! Haha... I'm normally up at 5 so 4 isn't a huge stretch. This little night owl doesn't know how y'all do it!! DSO is the same - 6am is a sleep in for him. I had to set my alarm for 5:50am this morning, because it was my turn to pick my friend up for our regular Thursday morning walk. I HATE seeing a five on my clock! It meant I had to go to bed at 11pm instead of my normal midnight. This morning I found out a lot of the people in the pool don't eat breakfast first. I don't like eating breakfast too early, so I wouldn't eat breakfast first either. Even when I used to swim 30 laps before work (a million years ago!) I don't think I ate breakfast first.

There’s a restaurant near my mom that orders in tons of Maine lobster in January and then sells off lobster dinners relatively cheaply, in advance because it’s so popular. She had to buy in back in November. So tonight is our lobster dinner reservation. Mom, me, brother, and one sister (the local one). I need to go get prettied up for my lobster now. Still in my thoughts, naby64. Come back when you’re ready. sueg, your girl is both adorable and brave.

I can’t remember what else is on it but oh my goodness it’s so delicious.

Thread dates are for lovers.🤣 sueg, your little dad is very strong and so sweet. @ jeremysgirl, the pain is back in my shoulder. Oddly, that's a good sign. RSDS is a disease of the sympathetic and Para sympathetic nervous system, and is flight or fight. The treatments calm those systems down and get oxygen flowing to the right places. This disease seeks out major organs and the treatments stop that from happening. It goes hand in hand wih my digestive disease. That's today's lesson. @ **GypsyGirl**, great news about your dh.

Thinking of you and your family naby64. I subbed in a high school again today ... same as yesterday ... kids are great so it was a good day! My mum was in the hospital for a couple of days this week and I picked her up after work ... she has an iliostomy that was giving her grief but she's fine now ... I grabbed a few groceries and then some dumplings from the Chinese place to have for dinner ... wouldn't want to eat anything I would have to cook! I ate a few dumplings when I got home but I'm feeling nibbly so I think I will have more now!
