Thinking of you and your family naby64. I subbed in a high school again today ... same as yesterday ... kids are great so it was a good day!  My mum was in the hospital for a couple of days this week and I picked her up after work ... she has an iliostomy that was giving her grief but she's fine now ... I grabbed a few groceries and then some dumplings from the Chinese place to have for dinner ... wouldn't want to eat anything I would have to cook!  I ate a few dumplings when I got home but I'm feeling nibbly so I think I will have more now!  Did you get gyoza? Or bigger like pork buns. It’s all (yamucha) or dim sum to me. Do you like shumai too? |

Retirement continues to be super busy!
Listed mom’s house on the weekend and accepted a full price offer on Monday so lots to do for the closing. Then yesterday we got a call that an assisted living space has opened up for Mom next week (she’s been in the hospital since November) so now I’m heading back to her province to get her moved in. I am happy to do all of of this, and very glad that I have the time to do it.
Thinking of Naby64 as she goes through this difficult time.
Wishing scrapmaven good results from your treatment.
And lobster for supper sounds lovely Lucy! We had stirfry and gyozas tonight and one of us will have more for lunch tomorrow!

@neisy you have been busy. That’s a lot of work. cadoodlebug I usually eat before I work out. I made cutouts out cookies for the shower. I still need to decorate them. That’s for tomorrow because I’ve got to clean up the clutter in my guest room. My sister’s flight arrives at 10:30 am tomorrow. Dh is gone for work so I had cereal for dinner. |

Do you like shumai too? I actually have no idea! I think they would be classified as gyoza but Chinese pork dumplings ... not big at all ... I have never had shumai ... no one in my family strays far from the old standby's of Sweet and Sour chicken and Ginger Beef!  |
