Camp Wonder - maybe the ephemera? maybe...
Fairy Garden - not my style at all
Fireworks and Freedom - feels lacking in cohesion and unusable - I do like that they included embellishments that weren't strictly Fourth of July but flowers?
Spot and Oliver - wow - that's probably the worst pet line I've ever seen in 23 years of scrapping
I'm not usually a big Fancy Pants fan but this release doesn't seem like one of their better offerings

Got to give it to Fancy Pants. They came up with some papers that weren't things I have seen a lot of. The Fourth of July paper with bison icons? Yes, please. Also some different colors mixed in with that. Spot and Oliver also had different looking pet papers. Camp Wander will be a yes for me because I love the colors, the icons, and the paper. Fairy Garden seemed more predictable, but I can see others using it.

Love the greens in Camp Wander, that bison page in the Fireworks line, the diamond (squares on point?) page in the pet line, and that vintage image of the little girl hugging her cat.
i used to love the weight and texture of Fancy Pants. Wonderful tearable papers. Are they still the same as before?

I LOVE Camp Wander! Such pretty greens. I’m not interested in the other collections.

My LCS now sells Fancy Pants papers so I might go see these in person if they stock it. From just looking at it on my PC, kind of like some of the camp papers, not even tempted to look at Fairy Garden, not digging Fireworks and Freedom, and the dog and cat line (I don't have either) ick.

I really love the black cat with the green eyes in the Spot and Oliver line, this is the kind of cat I want to see in pet lines. The rest of the colours and patterns aren't really my thing, but I don't hate it as much as I expected.
The green and white paper with the 8 pointed stars in the 4th of July line is quite nice.
The camping line is not something I need but I can see the appeal for others. Similarly the fairy line is not my thing, although I do think the Winsome paper, with the fairy houses and animals and leafy bits is lovely.
These collections feel a lot more usable to scrappers than their most recent releases have been.

I do appreciate Fancy Pants' weirdness. We are always asking for something different, and boy, do they deliver.
Camp Wander - I really like this- pretty colors and it has a deer. I don't like all of the pieces but love a couple. Fairy Garden - This would be good for junk journaling. I might get a piece or two for that. I don't know how you would scrapbook with it. Fireworks & Freedom - I don't like any of this except the bison paper. Spot & Oliver - I might get a piece or two. I'm not in love with it, but it would be nice to have a little variety in my pet supplies. I can see cutting some of those sheets apart for various things.
I really don't think these function as scrapbook lines, except for Camp Wander. Definitely more geared to junk journaling. But that market is picking up and scrapbooking is dying down, so...

Camp Wonder - Love the Thermos pp. Fairy Garden - Beautiful, but I don't know what I'd use it for. Fireworks & - I'm surprised by this one. Quite a bit to like here. Spot & Oliver- Great job Fancy Pants! Even though I no longer have any pets, I'll have to get some of this line. Thanks for showing us PaperAngel.

It is interesting how 3 of us mentioned the bison paper. Evidently people want bison paper. Well, I haven't seen any before...
Fancy Pants is so hard to scrap with (except that pumpkin/fall line in their last release- that was lovely and fairly easy to work with.) Whenever I decide to scrap with it, it is definitely a challenge. I've liked a couple of layouts I've made with it, though, and the challenge is kind of fun.

I'm happy to see something that is different.
Camp Wonder - very much like Simple Stories' "trail mix" colours: I still like them and might get a few pieces
Fairy Garden - not my style at all
Fireworks and Freedom - not being American, the flowers don't bother me, and I'm actually jealous of that ephemera pack (Party in the USA!) that are included that would make it fun to scrap a tired/overscrapped subject! And I really like a few of the pps and would buy them if I find them.
Spot and Oliver - weird again, but I actually love the ephemera pack and maybe a couple of pps just because it is different and weird!

There seem to be a lot of all over prints, which I use in very small amounts. Add to the fact that these themes are either ones I don't have a use for, or I already have plenty of, these are all lines I will skip this time.

Bison appears to be a hit, the random animal icon nobody knew they needed (before this release)! oh I knew I needed bison. We lease our land to bison farmers, and dh takes tons of photos of them. Just couldn't find many crafty supplies that feature them. I had mentioned it before on threads here asking "what would you like to see?"

I apologize for missing/not recalling your previous posts & am glad the icon is finally available for you & others whose wish lists included bison! We were in Yellowstone and got some good pics of the bison. We're also headed back there in May. The bison almost ask to be pet. I have been told by my family that they actually are not asking, but I am pretty sure they are. AC came out with Cedar House and it has some good wild animal icons. I also have a few metal dies with bison. But I will say that MOST people would think it isn't a needed icon. We also have a few white bison about 2 hours from our house. I saw them and didn't have a camera. Will be heading back to photograph them. They are cool. Snow Buffalo by Nancy Tim, on Flickr

Definitely more geared to junk journaling. ... It seems the company hopes each collection will appeal to & can be used by all types of papercrafters - traditional scrapbookers, pocket scrappers, junk journalers, etc. I'm uncertain whether it's possible/successful.

When did FP get so weird?

I will be the lone person who loves the Spot and Oliver paper.. it's the only paper I have seen that has a St. Bernard included... no one EVER has a Saint in anything. All those I love my xxx.. there is never I love my St. Bernard. (there is some on the internet but never in the stores). I personally like that line. All of it? Naw.. but I do like a lot of it.

Man, I usually like at least a piece or two of FP, but these papers look extremely hard to use, and I don’t really care for the colors, or diecut images.

When did FP get so weird? This is the company's aesthetic under its new ownership (since early 2023).

None of that is for me. Maybe one piece of plaid paper I saw that if I saw in person I might buy but wouldn’t bother ordering. One question have about pet lines- does it not bother other people when cats and dogs are on the same page?? I wouldn’t use paper like that anyway, but I have two dogs and no cats. Why would I use paper with cats on it? Just seems weird to me. Kind of like when travel paper throws icons from different countries on the same page- how would I use this unless I went to all the countries and it was a title page or something? I guess that’s one reason I don’t use paper like that/not a theme scraper.
