For years I’ve worn Skechers, and more or less only Skechers. But I’ve recently started shopping on Vinted, and been seduced by the prices into trying other brands. So far, I’ve bought two pairs of Adidas Gazelles, and a pair of classic Reeboks. They’re not quite as comfortable as Skechers, but I love having different styles and colours! I find that Skechers don’t have a huge variety of styles, and they tend to have fairly dull synthetic uppers. One Adidas pair I bought is red suede with white stripes, and the other is navy leather with pale pink stripes. They’ve really perked up my feet! 😁

I have never been particularly brand loyal, but I was a Saucony fan and buyer for many (most) years because they were the only brand that really fit my skinny foot and heel comfortably without slipping.
However since my feet (and everything else😉😄) are no longer skinny I tend to jump around on my brands. My last couple were ASICS. They felt better than all the others I tried - including the HOKAs which I thought would be the brand I was purchasing. So I am now much more apt to try on versions of a lot of different brands when deciding on a new pair.

I find that ASICS work best for me for walking or standing long periods. I have an indoor pair I use when I am baking or cooking something that takes a long time. Standing for long periods on my LVP flooring is hard on my feet.

I usually wear Saucony because they regularly clearance them out each year. I just bought Saucony Guide 17 and Saucony Ride 17 for $35 a pair. If I could find the same low prices on Brooks or Hoka, I would wear those too. I also wear Adidas and Nike if I find a good sale.
I actively avoid Under Armour as I think they are poor quality. I find Keds run very narrow.
Honestly, I can't believe Reebok is still around.

I wear Hoka now. I think it has also changed my gait and I don't have the back pain that I used to have. And they are nice and wide in the front for my bunions.

For exercise walking I reach for my ASICS. For everything else I like New Balance and Skechers. Other brands like NIKE just don't fit my feet as well.

I like new balance as they come in extra extra wide.. so I can actually wear them out of the box.

I would love to try Hokas, but I find I wear out the inside of the heel of the shoe, and Hokas are so expensive! I've been buying soucony lately.

For exercise: Hokas. I need a stability shoe for walking/jogging and theirs are the best for me.
For just general bumming around, I like Taos because of the arch support, and I also will wear Skechers Arch Fit styles.

Skechers all the way for me, I even have their slippers! You are correct, Lesley, they are dull but I need the comfort and will just have to pine after the footwear I really love.

I stick mainly to ASICS, New Balance, and Brooks. I do a lot of walking at work and find that if I wear one pair for too long it causes problems for me. So I will switch them out every day or two.

I like New Balance for every day and Reebok’s for working out.

Back when I ran, I liked Saucony. For my walks/hikes, I've stuck with my Adidas Terrex with Gore-Tex because we have a long wet/mud season, and I can't stand wet feet. Their only downside is that the Gore-Tex makes them hot in summer. My shoes for the gym are also Adidas.

Hokas. I have a pair of non-slip for work that are really comfy. They are black leather. But they are without a doubt the most comfortable, most expensive and the ugliest sneakers I’ve ever bought! I have a blue pair for walking w/o the non-slip sole and they are a lot less “clown shoes” looking.

I pronate when I walk, and have a really high arch. Right now, Asics are the best fit for me. I tried Hokas, and they killed my feet. I couldn’t even wear them around the living room.

My last 3 pairs of shoes have been Asics. I stand at work (3-4 hours) and am usually sore/tired when I get home, but not my feet.
First pair, the soles wore down. Second pair the plastic that goes over the toe came unglued. My current pair is starting come unattached on the sides where my toes bend when I walk. I have the same feet, it's weird how they all wear out/fall apart differently.

We call them runners or running shoes in Canada, at least in my part.
I have Skechers for everyday things. For actual working out, walking (treadmill or outside) I've bought Asics for years. Once I tried a different brand and didn't like them so I just haven't bothered to try something else since.

As a youth I loved Vans and Keds. Later on I mostly wore Skechers. I can’t wear any of those now because they don’t work well with my orthotics, in fact I can’t wear anything with any built in arch or heel height. I wear Rocket Dog Jazzins almost exclusively now with the insoles torn out because they’re wide and work perfectly with my custom orthotics. I like that they come in lots of colors and patterns, and also in both high and low tops.
I also recently took a chance and bought a pair of Dickies Supa Dupa Low sneakers in wide width that were surprisingly comfortable and worked with my orthotics. Bonus, they were really cheap and they came in a pretty pink color!

Brooks with a Orthofeet insert. It annoys me that they change styles so often. By the time I figure out a new style is going to work out, I'm usually having to scrounge Amazon if not Ebay for another pair.

I prefer to wear sneakers, although I do have a couple pair of loafers. For sneakers, I tend to wear Hokas and New Balance. I have a pair of Sketchers as well. I have low arches, so I tend to stick to shoes that will support that, especially if I'm going to be on my feet a lot.

I’m on my feet hustling at my job for a full 9+ hours a day, and my Cloves are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever had. I’ve tried Hokas, Sketchers, and a few others, and the Cloves leave my feet pain free throughout the day. I love them so much I bought a pair just for out-and-about use. They’re not inexpensive, but totally worth it for me.

Everyday walking around Vans, Skechers or Clarks. I love how good Clarks feel on my back, hips and feet. The gym - Asics or Adidas.

I still wear Converse in all the colors. I have a couple pairs of Vans mary jane type canvas shoes that are super cute. And then Rocket Dog and Hey Dude's. Oh, and UIN - love those, too.
