Oh, come ooooonnnnn. It is going to take awhile for all of the "benefits" of massive federal layoffs, increased taxes on most, reneged subsidies and grants, and all the epic tariffs to be implemented, to reduce inflation and put us into a glorious recession.

Give him a chance. He's had so many more important things to do. He had to release all the January 6 convicts. He'll need their votes in the midterms. He has to cut funding for feeding poor people and of course cancer research - he's so healthy, he won't ever need that. He had to fire all those inspectors so he could do whatever he wanted without anyone noticing. Elon must take up a lot of his energy. I mean watching him jump up and down all the time would be very draining for a 78 year old.
Threatening other countries with tariffs and land grabs and then backing down and then reversing course. That all takes time.
Convincing his staff that taking over Gaza must have been a day's work at least. I mean those poor people were tripping over themselves trying to explain his reasoning and plans. Finally they just gave up.
I almost forgot bullying Senators to vote for his unqualified cabinet picks. Surely that took some effort. He didn't persuade Mitch. Republicans have to be near death to grow a conscience.
And of course, he has to become the Chairman of the Kennedy Center. That was such a priority, he just assumed people would want him to do it. He never even had to mention it on the campaign trail.
I mean he just got around to calling Putin today to end that war he was going to end before he was even inaugurated. And you expect him to lower prices? Really the guy's been busy destroying democracy and building his legacy. Priorities, people!

Yes he is cutting so many jobs and departments but needs to raise the debt ceiling 4 trillion.
Canada is going to start selling their oil to China instead of us. We only get 60% of our oil from them so no big deal.
The entire world now hates us. When will they wake up?
Obviously what he is doing is having an effect on inflation with tariffs. Heck just the threat of them.
