Instead of Canada, why doesn't Trump make Mexico the 51st state?
No more illegal immigrants. They would be U.S. citizens. No need for border walls and border stops.
Lots of nice resorts.
He could go in with the military and wipe out cartels.
Someone needs to put a bug in his ear.

He wants our resources. Mexico doesnt offer those to pad his friend's (and his) pockets.

Oh don’t be silly now. Of course he doesn’t want THOSE people to be citizens! 🙄 Not to mention the fact that the people coming up from countries even further south would still be a problem. If he even suggested that Mexico should become the 51st state, all of his racist supporter’s heads would explode.

Much better food if we adopt Mexico. (Sorry, Canada - poutine just doesn't compete with good tacos.)
But yeah - I believe a majority of our undocumented immigrants actually come from further south than Mexico these days.

We have had tacos 3x and they are much better than any poutine is. Fun fact: my dad has never eaten poutine and he’s old!

Not sure where in Mexico you are, but if you can get squash blossom quesadillas sold by ladies making them on a comal in the market, definitely do that. Also if you find a guy selling basket tacos - totally different from tacos we get in the US and worth a try! Aaaaaaand if you can find real green chorizo tacos, not just food color dyed chorizo but filled with green chiles and herbs, those are not to be missed.

We found a delicious place near us but the line was 40 people deep. Trying there again tonight!

I swear he kind of insinuated once but only once. I’m sure he remembered oh they aren’t white and that kept him from repeating it. But yes Mexican food is my favorite.
I have watched a few shows where they go into Mexico and eat real Mexican food not the stuff we get and it looked amazing. I have a friend and she has been traveling to different countries south of us for the last few years for foodie and spa places. She just went to El Salvador a week ago I know she has been to areas around Mexico City she actually stayed a month and worked remotely, she had been to the area a few times and also Guatemala. I think she has been to other places but I can’t remember now. Lots of amazing food and culture.

Yes and Elon is acutely aware of the birth rate crisis so I would think he would be a big proponent of that.

Lo tengo clarísimo. I don think the peas have voiced any desire to invade Canada or Mexico so your Eff Off seems a little uncalled for.

I can think of a few Trump supporters in Peas who drink the Koolaid so I am not without concerns. If North Korea was threatening you, your mileage may resemble mine.

It was too cold for me and -40°C was beyond what my body can tolerate too. That said Edmonton has a ton of very cool stuff to do in winter.

I'm from Iowa, I'm familiar with your Arctic winds whistling unchecked across the winter plains. But I'm not interested in doing it again, haha.

Canada has good Cadbury and Nanaimo Bars You know the reason is that trump is racist, right? Yeah I’m kind of laughing at how multicultural Toronto is, though. I don’t think Trumpy thought that one through.

Yes, but that would imply he has any understanding of history. That is exactly what I was thinking when I wrote that, but I couldn't resist. On a somewhat related note, I'm currently reading a book about how the story of the Texas Revolution that all us Texans were raised on is complete BS. It was all about slavery and there were all kinds of backroom deals going on to try to permit slavery in Texas when it was under Mexican rule. Turns out, Mexico was more progressive than most of the world back then and took a had no position on slavery. @merge don't sell Canada short--there is definitely good food to be had, and Mexican food is one of my primary food groups (Mex-Mex, Tex-Mex, New-Mex). The best pho I've ever had was in Vancouver, and I'm still looking for something that comes close.
