I waited until the last minute so there's not much selection left. These are from renttherunway and range from $20-45 and will be overnighted to me. #1, #2, #3, #4 The first dress is by this designer so the fabric is unforgiving.

3 or 4. 1 looks too young for you, and 2 is just ugly.

If those are the only choices, 3.

What will you be doing for NYE? That would probably affect my opinion. I think you have to be very tall and slender for #2 to work, but I do think it's pretty. I think #1 is early to mid 20 aged but is cute depending on the exact event and location. 3&4 are both nice. What colors would you be doing? The actual colors you posted?
I don't think any of them necessarily scream NYE, but that's one night I love to go big!

Where will you be going? #1 is cute for a casual affair, #3 would be my pick if it was a cocktail event. #2 seems sort of bridesmaidish to me on the bottom but the colour would be gret on you, I think.

Yeah all the sequin dresses are gone. I'm going to a ballroom party where I will dance all night. I'm 5'6.

I agree that #2 has the bridesmaid look to it. Either #3 or #4 are more elegant than #1 -- it's a little too casual/cutesy.

4. The ruffles on 2 look like labia. Seriously just spit on myself. With the new information on the event, I would honestly go with #1 and have a blast!!! That's what we usually do every year and instead of what I call the skank look, I go for fun and flirty so I can have an awesome time dancing the night away and feeling young and fun.

4. The ruffles on 2 look like labia. Is it fair to say that #2 is no longer a contender?

My vote is #3. Looks fun to dance in and you don't have to worry about something showing or slipping. And the color is gorgeous.

I think #3 is the classiest, but I don't know how well you could dance in it.

I was leaning towards one but I've just been told I'm too old for it. lol #4 is wool so it may be hot #3 seems like it might show every inch of fat. I don't have the best selection here. #2 is definitely out of the running now.

I like #4 because it is a nice color and I think you will stand out in the sea of black and sparkly dresses. It is appropriate for the season but not something you see every day.

I don't have the best selection here. #2 is definitely out of the running now. Well I did say above that I would initially think it would be for early to mid 20's, but honestly dancing on NYE, I think you would look great in it no matter the age. It looks most comfortable for having fun and dancing, will look gorgeous on NYE, and won't be hot or constricting. I definitely wouldn't go wool, and if you are already worried about a dress showing imperfections I would toss it out before it made you so self conscious that it ruins your night. ETA: I just looked again, and I think the neckline on #1 makes it look more mature than childish. If it was strapless, then I would think it's more of a young girl's choice. So I think you would be good to pick that one.

I think #3 may be stunning on you. It's classic with a modern twist and a fabulous color.
