Anyone who has visited Edinburgh as a tourist is likely to recognise Circus Lane, as it is high on the list of the most picturesque streets. If you can tolerate lots of people photographing the outside of your house, then consider buying this beauty! I love how they’ve brought light into the house, the gorgeous kitchen, and most (but not all!) of the wallpaper choices. Circus Lane

I love it! Amazing what 1.6 will buy in other places!

It is beautiful, and I would buy it! But I don't care for some of the wallpaper.
ETA - Just wondering, is that a 1 or 2 car garage? It looks big enough for 2, but I was under the impression that most homes over there only have room for a 1-car garage.

I’m surprised that I don’t love it! I’d happily stay there as a holiday let but I wouldn’t want to live there. Despite the lovely conservatory/atrium type glass kitchen area, I find the lack of windows with views make it feel claustrophobic and small. Which is typical of a mews house. The decor is lovely, I’ve fallen for the staircase and each room individually is really nice but altogether it doesn’t do it for me. I’d expect it to be snapped up in that area at that price!

It’s a mews house which means it was originally designed for horses and carriages. A separate garage in that part of Edinburgh can cost upwards of £60,000! But Edinburgh has excellent public transport, is a very walkable city (albeit hilly), and that house is in a great location. You would not need a car for everyday use.

Yes please!! That house is gorgeous! Especially the kitchen. I might have to get rid of some of the wallpaper, but I'd keep most of it.
And now I'm off to do a walking tour of Circus Lane (on Google Maps).

It's lovely I love the decorating style - not necessarily every wallpaper but they haven't just done what everyone else does, it's very individual. The little outside space is cute and if you want to live in a house like that, in that location, that's the compromise, but I couldn't personally. I love the clever pantry cupboard and the kitchen generally is delightful. By the way, what were you doing browsing Savills at 5am?

I like it a lot. Some of the wallpaper would have to go but I like the spaces. Seems cozy.

Since my dream is to live in Scotland, I’ll take it! Most of the wallpaper is not my taste at all.

I love Edinburgh. I would take that house in a heartbeat. Love the solutions to bring in natural light, kitchen and bathroom. they have committed to a certain "style" with that wallpaper. while I don't love it, it does create a cohesive feeling. tfs!

Nope, after living near the Goonies house when social media wasn’t even as huge as it is now, I would never ever choose to live in or very near a home that will draw visitors like that. People can be so disrespectful and entitled.

Such a pretty place. I love some features, but wallpaper, especially in the smaller bedroom, would have to go. All those bathrooms and no soaking tub…but maybe they are not the norm in this area. Overall, a beautiful place to live. The walkability would be a plus for me.

While I don't love the wallpapers, everything else is beautiful. Even the lack of yard would not bother me, I dont think.

I loved the kitchen but wouldn’t that get really hot in the summer or cold in the winter being it’s basically a greenhouse? Having worked in a building with a greenhouse attached, I know exactly how hot and cold rooms like that can get. 🥵🥶
Don’t hate me, but I also would have to change out most of that wallpaper. I liked the colors in general but the prints were way too busy for me. I need places for my eyes to rest.

It's been on the market for a while (at least 6 weeks). I saw the listing when I was in Edinburgh at New Year's.

Oooh - it's SO pretty. The wallpaper would have to go for me - it's not my favourite. But the kitchen? And how quaint the street is? Wow.
We spent years watching Phil & Kirsty on Location Location, and now watch Escape to the Country if it is on. It's so fascinating - I grew up in an historical home that my parents restored, but it was only just over 100 years old. Historical homes in the UK can be several hundred years old!

Keep in mind I live in a newer country and development but my street in full bloom is the 2nd most instragrammable street in town.
