Good evening all, leannec - I’m feeling fine. I think it’s almost magical how quickly antibiotics can turn a UTI around. But don’t worry - I also know that I have to take the whole pack to be sure. I’ve dealt with this often enough over the years. Today was a normal Saturday - grocery shop in the morning, then taking it easy for the rest of the day. I went out for a walk after lunch and since then I’ve been knitting. We’ve had the football on the TV as background. Our game was last night, so we watched the ‘Konferenz’ - jumping between the games when anything exciting happened. Dinner is a vegetarian chilli. We will have corn chips, sour cream, fresh salsa and avocados with it. Enjoy your weekend everyone.

Winter arrived back here today with snow and seriously cold temperatures. Hopefully it’s just a glitch and we will be back to above freezing temps in a few days.
I’m waiting for someone to pick up a desk and chair that I sold on Marketplace. I bought the desk during COVID in order to work from home. Since I’m no longer working, it’s taking up space. So off it goes!
Supper will be barbeque chicken flatbread pizza for me and DH will probably have Hamburger Helper. He and Walker enjoy all the flavours but their favourite is Cheeseburger Macaroni.

DH and I just got back from a long walk. It's beautiful out ~ clear blue skies and temps in the low 60s. Rain is on the way for Monday. sueg said *I think it’s almost magical how quickly antibiotics can turn a UTI around. But don’t worry - I also know that I have to take the whole pack to be sure. Dinner might be spaghetti and meatballs. This isn't a meme but I thought it was kind of cool.

Happy March!🍀💚 Doing laundry, cleaned bathrooms and I still need to vaccum. Hoping everyone is doing well, saying prayers for many. My right eye still is not doing well, called the doctor a few days ago but he didn't want to see me told me to keep my appointment on the 7th. We are probably going to get pizza for dinner tonight.

What a crazy day this has been so far!
I ran errands this morning including dropping off BRAT diet supplies to my poor dad who has been sick as a dog. I ran in and ran out because it sounds like the norovirus and I don't need that! Then I headed to the hospital to see my mom and the nurse says they are releasing her to rehab. I was like..she's still so confused and thinks she slept in the next room last night. I even talked to the dr to express my concerns and they didn't budge. I hope this isn't her new normal and that she'll kind of reset in rehab.
I've got a massage this afternoon (much needed) and then I'll go over to her new facility and take her clothes. My sister packed her pajamas that she arrived to the hospital in and so she has to wear her gown. Bad planning on her part. At least rehab is only like 5-10 minutes from our houses.
Definitely needing that massage today!!

Tearisci thank goodness your mom will be close. Your poor dad. Just what he doesn’t need. Enjoy your massage. We decided Amalfi coast is overrated. We got to visit and don’t need to return. Tomorrow we move to Rome for the remainder. I don’t feel well because I am so carsick here. We purposely did not take any ferries because boats are worse for me. I should be fine tomorrow. I was able to eat a delicious seafood pasta though tonight. I did t take any chances and steered clear of wine.

The pros & cons of off season travel, teddyw, are no crowds vs half the shops/restaurants not open yet. I hope Rome isn't too bad and would worry about more and more people coming in for the vigil for the pope. I had a weird sleep where I woke at 12:30 and was wide, wide awake. So wide awake I decided to go downstairs and read for a couple hours. I struggled to get up in time for a 10 am yoga class. Thankfully it was online today because the usual spot was under construction of some sort. I am now waffling over whether to go to the gym or take a nap and shower. A friend had neck/spine surgery this week so we are taking dinner from a local Italian place over there.

I ended up seeing the Dr yesterday, one new to me as mine doesn't work on fridays. The "crystals" in my inner ear are out of whack, just a waiting game to see when it passes. She gave me meds to help with the symptoms. I am a bit better today, at least more functional.
Dinner is the end of the pork roast, apple sauce, a potato we will share and roasted asparagus.
sueg, glad you are better😊
