Am I the only one who gets absolutely nothing out of seeing a project sneak peek? I still see them from a few places, and I really don’t understand the point of them. It does not get me excited to see it, and it doesn’t make me run over the day it’s posted.
I get doing that for a company product release, but for a individual person’s project, it just seems pointless.

I don't follow anyone in the scrapbooking world (I deleted Instagram) so I don't even see these and when I did they just annoyed me... you are not alone.

I agree. They annoy me, especially if they take too long to get to the reveal. The Dec Daily ones (drawn out over multiple weeks) in particular. Just show us the products. I don't enjoy being drip fed.
I much prefer heidi swapp's method of oops I showed it all to you a couple days early. Her "sneak peeks" are my favorite kind - her unabashed excitement leads to reveal all/most of the products just a little early (not too early, but not drawing it out unnecessarily).
edited to add: on a related note, I'm also annoyed when companies do not do a full reveal (ideally with video). like when they sell a kit but just provide one photo! or their images don't fully show every item. especially with papers/pocket cards - I want to see both sides. I also don't want to buy based on non-photo 2D drawings. I want to see a photo of the product in real life (how it turned out), not a 2D drawn image of what was designed. so much can change in how colors turn out (especially whites), plus the scale and material of the items etc. even for stamps and dies. show me the photos! and videos!

I agree with all above. I only look at the releases posted here.

yes! like when a portion of a layout is shown as a “sneak peak”. very irritating.

From a content creator (on hiatus) perspective, Instagram and YouTube algorithms stifle your visibility if you're not posting regularly 'enough'. For someone who falls more onto the hobby-side of content creation, it's rarely possible to have new projects to share multiple times throughout the week. So you find ways to share the same project multiple times, in different ways.
I know it's not going to be to everyone's liking to share that way. But, if it is someone whose content you generally enjoy, hopefully it's something that can be tolerated just so that you can keep seeing the content from them in your feed.
