Just wanted to add that Big Bear is expecting a couple of feet of snow in the next couple of days. I hope the birds stay safe!!

Oh no I hadn’t thought of that with our rain coming tomorrow and Thursday and then more next week. That would be so heartbreaking. We watched video for a bit tonight. It is so nice to see two babies after the last two years. I hope they will be okay. |

I saw the clip this morning. ❤️❤️. So happy after last year. Was it last year? I lose track of time. Yes, last year’s eggs did not hatch. They also had eggs before that that were eaten by crows. Sources say they have had 14 eggs together (not including 2025) and 2 or 3 made it into adulthood. |

The photo from last night where Shadow won't get off the nest and Jackie is leaning her head down into his face as if to say "scram buster, it's my turn!" made me laugh out loud.
