We don’t even have the right wood left in most of our forests doing this will both ruin our forests AND require the use of less strong less dense wood. We simply don’t have enough of the same trees and we just don’t have enough land at higher latitudes to provide the harder older wood. ( wood at higher latitudes of the same type is a harder wood. ) The best wood for building is northern or western conifers, southern pine is fine but not as good, and we simply do not have enough anymore. Who else has the wood similar to Canadian wood? Russia He just doesn’t know anything about wood.
