Yes, I plan to call on Monday morning and will send an email via the MyChart system in our medical clinic before then. Texas Scrap, may you receive great news soon! samantha25 - I imagine I would have a PET scan even if I need to pay out of pocket. This is very preliminary and the finding at this morning's chiro appointment was totally accidental. It really is the worst, you're right. I've been through it 3 times now, twice positive. I've sent up a little prayer for you.
Personally I Googled everything I could so that I could be prepared for whatever might happen. That's my way of coping. Other people go out and do things to take their minds off it, but that didn't work for me. It just tainted the place/experience with the fear. The first time I found that talking about it with strangers was the most therapeutic, because some had been through it and empathised, but I hadn't upset my family. But that's me. We're lucky in this day and age to have internet support.
And the third time turned out to be nothing to worry about. I still Googled!

I know one thing about you and that is that you are a strong and generous lady. You will have all the love and support on your side, because that is what you give to others.
Another thing is that this was just an xray. There are other things that could be causing this. It's wholly unfair that this happened during the weekend. I will think the best thoughts for benign results and that you get benign results right away. My friend, you are in my thoughts and I will wait by your side.

Best wishes for good results. I am in remission from colon cancer for the past year and a half. Every few months when I do my bloodwork and cat scans, I become a basket case. But, I have learned to not read my charts before I see my oncologist. It just stresses me more and makes the waiting worse.
I am hoping you receive all good news.
