I like the first one much more than the second one. I like the accent lines and arch doors, etc. The biggest thing that I don’t care for with the first one, is the kitchen island. While I love the style of it, it doesn’t go with the rest of the kitchen.

Love the historical details in both homes. The second one felt like a bed and breakfast.

First house is just drab... Only three bathrooms with a dozen closets on the 1st floor? So much room for a half bath.

Do not like the first one at all - nothing about it is appealing.
On the other hand I like the second one. And with a huge remodel I could make that one work.

I love the French door and its pretty frame in the first one, but otherwise it has left me twitchy.
The second one I quite like. There are many things I would need to redo. First up, the kitchen.

I like the architecture of the second one, but it's been horribly remodeled. It would be a huge project.

While I love the style of it, it doesn’t go with the rest of the kitchen. Yes, it doesn’t really go but looking at it closely, it’s not built in . Looks like those kitchen islands that you buy at a furniture store. I like this house better too.

I needed a house thread.. good for my soul... lol
I like the looks of the first one better than the second. I think with both.. totally take everything out and make them both flow better (with a neutral paint job, and some cosmetic changes and a few major changes, I would take either. I don't like the all white on the second.. it's blinding.

I don’t like the first one at all, it’s drab and boring and I don’t see the curb appeal described in the blurb at all. I think the second one has a lot more potential, but there are some oddities. That very narrow room with a table, and benches that look inaccessible for normal sized people, is puzzling. And I don’t like the open plan parts of it, they just look draughty! A house built in 1905 should not be open plan like that. IMHO, of course. 😊

The first one would need a lot less work from me. I don't like that stone and brick and I don't like the vaulted ceiling, but the wood and trim is nice. Update the kitchen, add a little personality.
The second one is much more my style BUT some crimes have been committed inside, particularly those disgusting stair carpets and the artwork and wall choices. Also, what are we doing in what should be a butler's pantry? Is that meant to be a breakfast nook? It's so tight I started hyperventilating just looking. I felt squeezed.
I demand to have the ANIMAL room when I visit. I literally lol'd at that, gives the feel of a cheap Honeymoon Hotel. But lots of potential there!

Okay, I need feedback on this one. I am home for a remote learning day and have all my teacher work done so I am going down the house rabbit hole.

Would never buy that latest one - feels like a conference center. I don’t like all the hardscape.

Would never buy that latest one - feels like a conference center. I don’t like all the hardscape. I didn't like anything. The inside is so blah and vanilla. It gave me a 1960s vibe without the retro. No personality. It looks like an office building.

The first one - I HATE the exterior but I mostly like the interior. That third ground floor bedroom isn't a bedroom though...no closet and the only access is through another bedroom? nope, that's a bonus room. The second one? the outside isn't my style and I don't like the interior...can't quite put my finger on why not..furniture, decorating, something?
edit - the 3rd? I like the pool but yeah, it looks like a conference/retreat centre not a residence

I like them both. First one looks like a Hobbit house, and is that a school, a self-storage facility, or a trailer park in the back? The second one looks like "The Unsinkable Molly Brown" once lived there. They both have an ample amount of space and some nice architectural details, but someone with more vision than I would have to tackle them.

Honestly number three I really like and I am not sure why.. lol.. it needs some homey stuff in it.. but I love the pool area, most of the rooms, I like the skylight thing with the 'x's... The front room does seem 'cold' but I still like it. And that isn't my 'type' normally.

Neither one is my style.
I like the first house the best. Looks more roomy.
The dining area-breakfast nook in house 2 is very cramped, and could feel claustrophobic for some people.

Of the 3, the third is most closely aligned to my style, but it feels sterile and not like a home.

#3 gives school in the front, strip mall in the back, and religious compound on the inside.

I like the second one the best. I’d have to make some changes, but I rather like a lot of the architectural details on that house. That last one definitely didn’t start out life as a family home. It gives off conference center vibes.
ETA: I LOVE that huge front porch with the porch swing and the craft room in that second house! 🩷

The third one doesn't even look like a house to me. It looks like a school or an office building or a modern religious building of some sort from the outside. The layout of the first one is a big "no" for me. All 3 of them are considerably larger than any house I'd want. Number two, however, does at least still retain a lot of original elements despite obvious additions & renovations over the years, so I at least like that.
