But DT might find out that he would be overshadowed by King Charles!

I’m sure it’s just like joining the Chamber of Commerce or LIV golf.

I think there is precious little he does understand. Did anyone see the clip of him bragging about how Baron can turn his computer on and off? Seriously if people don't know by now what an idiot trump is I don't even know what to say.

Does he realize that being a part of the Commonwealth does not make him royalty? 🤔😅

And how much money would the US have to pay to help support the monarchy?

And how much money would the US have to pay to help support the monarchy? you wouldn't. Canada does not pay to support the monarchy. It costs an average of $1.55 per Canadian each year to support the Monarchy in Canada. This money does not go to the routine expenses of the Queen, but rather to the offices of the Governor General and Lieutenant Governor. Contrary to public rumours, at no time do Canadians "pay money" to Britain or to the Royal Family. But regardless of any money discussions - he can't just say "hey we are going to be part of the Commonwealth" that's not how it works. There is an application process, and based on this criteria alone, under FF, the USA is not eligible:

Brit PEAS, like gar, can you please weigh in on the reliability of the Telegraph as a source? I know there are some news media that are super reliable, and others that are just gossip spread sheets. I just don't know which are which. I trust the BBC, but never know about the newspapers.

Would you agree JoP, gillyp, lesley lainey?

Off topic but have to throw this in there. I wasn't aware of the Telegraph until the first protest/not my President's Day in 2016. My kids were there, in Chicago, took the train down. After I googled to look at photos and one of the first that popped up was from the Telegraph. And the prominent person in the cover photo was/is my tall, lanky then 16 son. I'll add photo in a moment when I find. Older sibling also there, to right and below in front of him, holding the round sign. Then a lot of other photos of him popped up elsewhere, mostly because of the (truthful) sign he made and carried. It said PAID PROTESTOR My Mom Paid my Train Fare. (that was a hit Lol)

This Canadian Commonwealth nation will vote to block that and I believe the majority of (if not all of) the Commonwealth nations would back Canada. I wonder if he is somehow thinking this would get him closer to annexation of Canada.
