I did some meal planning last night and placed a small Walmart pick up order for this morning of the needed items. Woke up bright and early, got the pick up order, got home and my burger buns are completely smashed and almost burnt looking, my cilantro is missing, and my head of lettuce is nasty. I've already been refunded but now I have to make another trip to a grocery store on Monday. What's your mildly infuriating situation this weekend?

Mine for today is illogical. I find the spiciness of jalapeños mildly infuriating and yet it would be even more infuriating if they were NOT spicy. Dumb move on my part was to rub my itchy eye while chopping some.

Mine is that I have to attend a charity gala tonight with a bunch of people I don't know, and it's causing me major anxiety. Also I don't really have the right thing to wear, but I refuse to go out and buy something new just now. More anxiety.

Mine is that I offered to donate some cans and bottles to a youth hockey team bottle drive and the woman who was to pick them up this morning has not shown up ... I've been waiting for two hours ... I have things to do! I guess I will put them away and give them to someone else another day!

I can't open my jar of olives. Run it under hot water, upside down so the hot water can get to the seal. That always works for me.

I got a massage today and it was so painful! The woman talked the entire time and I couldn't understand most of what she was saying so I just said 'ouch' a lot.
I have a monthly membership and I know not to have her again!

I got a new iPhone. Yeah! Everything transferred over after a few minor glitches. Another “yeah”! However, I’ve been logged out random apps with no rhyme nor reason. On the bright side - I have found my people on this thread. I am a self-diagnosed introvert and every event my DH tries to drag me to I have major anxiety. Ugh. I just want to stay home with my dogs. In my jammies.

I can't open my jar of olives. Take the handle of a butter knife and tap, fairly solid, around on the outter edge of the lid while turning the jar around in your other hand.. then try it again

I'm such a painful person with all my medical stuff that honestly the thought of a massage makes me cringe imagining it only hurting..hope it's a gentler person next time

Oh shoes are a whole thing - I can't wear heels at all these days and really can't do pointy toes, either. So I'll be bumping around in my nice, soft, old lady flats with the square toe. I unearthed a black dress that will work but it's a little big, having been purchased 30 lbs ago. Oh well.

Now that DS is 39, I am starting his album for grade school. (I know, I know!) Luckily I only have one kid. So, I have all my calendars to help with dates of when things happened. In 1993, I have the name Sherri written several times a month and have no idea who Sherri is. Not my stylist and not a babysitter for DS. It's driving me crazy. And I think it will never be solved which is making me crazier!

I have a monthly membership and I know not to have her again! Seriously, all my massage therapists ask what level of pressure I want/need and I don't hesitate to tell them when it's too much. Having said that, my very first massage therapist was a man and I thought he was breaking bones and I didn't say a word. It's a wonder I ever booked another one! And if they talk, I say something as that would ruin the massage for me. Tell them next time you want someone who won't talk. I'm sorry she ruined it for you as you deserve a wonderful massage.

She was very therapeutic and kept saying that she knows acupuncture, but it was not the relaxing massage i was looking for. I have had 3 massages there and 1 was really good. I just need to book with that person the next time.

Here’s mine. A friend of mine wanted me to embroider a logo for her business on a fleece sweatshirt. She gave it to me a week ago and I finally got around to doing it today. It sewed out nice and she is happy with it, so yay. BUT!!! She washed it with some scented detergent/fabric softener and OMG not only does it stink to high heaven but the perfumey soap smell has transferred to my chair that I had tossed it over when I got it last week, the cardboard cutting board on my work table and anything else it touched. 🤮 I can’t wait to get this thing out of my house.

My husband and I are getting too old to care for our yard work. We have a riding lawnmower, and we can keep it mowed but we are both past the point of handling a weed eater for any length of time or getting on our knees weeding out flower beds. We don't have a small yard, but I wouldn't call it extensive. We have called and called lawn services, and as soon as they find out we don't need them to mow, just sling a weed eater and pull some weeds, they aren't interested! Our quote yesterday was for $1,000 for 2 days' work for one person. That's fifty dollars an hour. I'm not paying them more than I made as a teacher. This is ridiculous. P.S. We are planning on scaling back on the size of our yard, the number of flower beds we have, and how many flowers we have, so we can get it to a level we can manage on our own. Anyone else have this problem?

My anxiety Peas, I feel your pain and I am so sorry. My anxiety will cause me to not sleep days(s) prior to whatever event and then that morning, without fail, I will have stomach problems. I generally rally right before, so there's that. I still hate it. My husband and I are getting too old to care for our yard work. We have a riding lawnmower, and we can keep it mowed but we are both past the point of handling a weed eater for any length of time or getting on our knees weeding out flower beds. Anyone else have this problem? Not quite because I can do all those things, but I don't want to. I have only planters that you can drop new plants in easy-peasy. No flower beds at all. I hate weeding with a passion and nature is relentless--it's not like cleaning a room once every so often--it demands water and weeds pop up every single day. DS or DH does the mowing and weeds but I'd definitely pay a kid to do it for me if needed. I have a very small yard (well, the part that's grass, anyway) so it wouldn't be too much. I do squirt Roundup on the weeds that try to come up on the sidewalk or street bc I'm not paying HOA fines and I'm not going out there pulling them up all season. A lawn service treats the lawn for weeds for me. I don't like chemicals but if I don't keep a service for the lawn it would be full of weeds and I'd get a citation!

I had a similar experience to you chaosisapony last weekend. About a year ago I did my first ever on-line click and collect order from one of the major supermarkets here, when I had COVID. DSO went to pick it up, and when he got home I saw that they had left off multiple items. They gave me a $30 credit, which sucked, because I never wanted to do an on line shop again. So last weekend we finally got the long awaited rain that we desperately needed. I decided to put in a click and collect order so I didn't have to get drenched walking to and from the car with my groceries. I paid extra to get express service. I got there at the appointed time, and had to wait for 20+ minutes for them to bring my order out. They left off two items, including a 32 pack of toilet paper. Kinda hard to miss something that big! So then I had to go into the store and get someone to bring me the missing items, and walk back to my car in the rain. I got home over an hour later, soaking wet from the rain, which is exactly what I'd wanted to avoid. Never again will I use that service.

My DS (9) had his first baseball game of the seasons. They were up 12-7 after 3 innings and just under 2 hours of playing. They could have ended the game but the coaches chose to go another inning. We ended up losing 12-13.

We are planning on scaling back on the size of our yard, the number of flower beds we have, and how many flowers we have, so we can get it to a level we can manage on our own. Anyone else have this problem? I really dislike mowing. I live in a wildfire prone area so it's imperative that I keep the weeds down. So lots of mowing, weedeating, etc. Sometimes I think of how wonderful it would be to hire someone to come and do the mowing and weedeating for me. Just like twice a month for about 4 months out of the year (then everything dies, I don't have an actual lawn that stays green year round). Then I look at the quotes and I am stunned. One guy advertises heavily in my area. You have to hire both him and his worker and pay for both of them hourly. $40 per hour per guy. So here I am, I spent most of my Saturday mowing and weedeating and hating it and wishing I was a wealthy person that could pay for yard service and get my free time back in the spring. I had a similar experience to you chaosisapony last weekend. About a year ago I did my first ever on-line click and collect order from one of the major supermarkets here, when I had COVID. I do online pick up order from Walmart about once a month. I typically don't have any problems unless it's around the holidays, then it's a whole shitshow. I did an pick up order with Raleys once and that was a nightmare, I never did it again. My best friend's husband works for Raleys and is always telling me I should do their pick up again and I'm like nah... once was bad enough sir.

My package that I was waiting on since Wednesday arrived and I only know this because they sent me an email to tell me. They were terribly proud of themselves for getting it here two days later than expected because they included a little picture to prove it. Only the photo was NOT of my house!! My house has a porch with a bench on it and my front door is bright yellow. So now I get to wait another week for my items to be re-shipped.
