This last season of Love is Blind US was a snoozefest so I was debating whether or not to watch. I'm about halfway through and there's some good drama although the dubbing is pretty bad.
Worth a watch if you like the series.

The US version really disappointed me and I have a pretty low bar, considering the fact that I watch smut tv.

Agree. I thought maybe it was just my tv doing a horrible job of the dubbing. I had tried before to watch but quit because of that. I did recently start watching again. The season does look like it could be exciting. I’ll try real hard not to let the dubbing drive me crazy. I do watch everything with captions, so it’s not that distracting. Thanks for the rec.

It's a level of trash I can't handle. I think I saw the beginning of an early episode once and it just is not for me. As for foreign versions of LiB, I don't like dubbing and I don't think I'd "get" the jokes and slang they have so they'd have to make it more English friendly in the translation. It feels like I'd be missing what they were authentically saying to each other, which is very important for me to know so I can judge them harshly later. Lol. I enjoyed the British version but I haven't watched any of the others. |

Trash TV can be a great distraction from trash real life for sure. I just don't like those type in particular, or any show where they scheme against each other to vote others off or whatever. |

Zee, I think you should give LB Sweden a decent try. I’m 3 episodes in and really enjoying it. Granted, it took me about one and a half eps to get used to the dubbing.
I get what you said about the emotions not being apparent. It’s working for me to get their feelings, per se. I’m pretty much all in.
There is a fair amount of drama so far. And I am quite picky about my shows like this. It also helps me to have the captions on. Plus Netflix does a good job of displaying them, unlike other platforms.

They had such sweet, undeniable chemistry at the engagement party.
The couple expecting a baby are so cute!

I've watched the whole season - live in Sweden, speak Swedish.
The dubbing is obviously done by machine, which makes it horrible.
I thought the editing was some how different than the US and UK versions. It seems like most of the dates shown were early ones. There were very few we are gonna do an activity date.
The ceremonies and actual yes/no's totally threw me. And the reunion is worth watching.
