I now have two - both came in a subscription box.
Now - stupid question - but not being well-versed in the make-up/skin care realm and being somebody who does not wear foundation daily, just eyeliner & mascara when I do...
Do you use these in lieu of washing your face? Or are they simply "remove the make-up" and then you use a cleanser after that? I guess I don't see the point if I'm going to wash my face with cleanser after anyway. Why not just cleanse?

I remove my eye makeup with micellar water and a reusable makeup remover cloth before cleansing. I haven’t found a unicorn cleanser that is gentle enough for my skin, doesn’t irritate my eyes, and completely removes mascara without a lot of rubbing. So, I use micellar water on my eyes, then follow with my preferred double cleanse products (currently Prequel oil-based and Vanicream water-based).

I use a make up removing balm all over my face and then wipe it off with a damp reusable make up remover cloth and then wash my face with my usual cleanser and follow up with a toner. Usually by the time I’ve used the toner everything is gone. If I only used the cloth it would definitely leave a lot of product and residue behind.

I have oily eyelids and teary eyes so typical mascara just runs on me, even waterproof. I switched to tubing a couple of years ago and it stays beautifully and an added benefit is that it is very easy to remove with just warm water.

I use Clinique take the day off cleaning balm on my eyes, wipe with a wet makeup eraser cloth. Then wash my face with prequel cleanser, again wiping with the cloth.

You can also use them to apply toner, if you use that.

If your make up tends to stain your wash clothes, or you use an oily remover that leaves oil residue on your wash cloths these save your nicer wash cloths. Use it to remove your make up, then clean your skin. eta: I don't wear make up at all. Never found anything that doesn't irritate my skin/eyes. But I use these cloths to apply heavy creams or things like Vaseline to my psoriasis plaques or extremely dry areas.

I made the switch about 10 years ago and love it.

I use them either with a cleansing balm or just wet but I always follow with my regular cleanser.

I guess I'm the outlier and I use them pretty much as a regular washcloth except only for my face, with my usual facial cleanser (Origins Checks & Balances). Mine have a little activated charcoal and they work great. Usually no residue left over, but if there is I just rinse the cloth and wipe again with plain water.
