People are posting about being tired of political threads, so I’ll make a contribution to a non-political topic.
Every time I am in the car for longer than 20 minutes I hear the song, “Sally When the Wine Runs Out” by Role Model. I turn it up, sing along, and ask Alexa to play it at least once a day when I’m home. My husband has also become a fan.
I’m not asking for your all time favorite song. I need to know your current jam.

It’s not current as in on release, but it’s the one we’re learning in choir at the moment, so I am listening to it constantly - probably about 10 times a day, so definitely current for me! 😁 Learn To Fly by The Foo Fighters.

I Heard an Owl by Carrie Newcomer. The lyrics are so appropriate for the times we're living in. I've been putting in on repeat when I'm driving anywhere. I Heard an Owl -- Carrie Newcomer

I mainly listen to country music ... grew up on it and will always love it! My fav song at the moment isn't all that new but was released in the last year ... "Ends of the Earth" by Ty Meyers ... kid is only 17 or 18 years old but he knows how to put a song together!

I almost never hear current music unless I’m in the car by myself. I like quiet at home and DH and I jabber when we’re in the car together. But the most recent song I’ve heard (on IG) and loved was a remake of Tina Turner’s “Simply the Best” by Billiane. I didn’t even realize it was the same song

That's a hard question! I don't listen to current music so I had to see what came to mind first, as likely it's the one I'd been listening to recently and I came up with One Day Like This by Elbow.

Current-ish…Teddy Swims, The Door. I hear it in my head constantly, know every lyric and play it on repeat when Dh is not around because he’s sick of it🤭

My current favorite song and I don't know how current it is is Greatest Day from the Anora soundtrack.
I hated the movie but I really liked this song.

I'm not sure I have an answer to be honest. I looked at the current charts and it's none of them.
I have been listening to a lot of Taylor Swift on Spotify lately and a different song of hers pops up in my head every day when I wake up. Always a different one. It's kind of funny. I use her as soothing background music.
I like The Prophecy and So Highschool right now.

Oh gosh, I tend to mainly listen to my trusty old favourites, so I don't hear a lot of new music. I just googled "Australian Top 50" to see if there was anything I know on there haha! My current faves are: Lose Control - Teddy Swims Anxiety - Doechii
I remember the times when I could sing every word to every top 50 song. I guess now I'm just living in the past!

I don't know any current songs as in recent releases or Top 40 radio playlists right now. I have been listening to old favorites and nostalgic stuff across my lifetime since I stopped listening to holiday songs. So my current tunes are a mix of songs from the 70s through early 2010s right now.

Jelly Roll - I am not okay. I listen to it several times a day.
This song inspires me. It reminds me, that everyone is going through something, we all have struggles and ups and downs......that I am not the only one. It reminds me, that life is not perfect. It reminds me, that even when I am having a rough day and I am feeling not okay......that I will be okay.

Love Alex Warren! If you like him you would probably also like Noah Kahan and Sam Barber.

I rewatched Jennifer's Body and have been listening to Through the Trees ever since. Adam Brody wearing eyeliner and selling his soul for fame is soooo good!

Currently - Hozier’s “Too Sweet”. I love that one, too. I like anything by Jelly Roll. My favorite right now is probably "A Lot More Free" by Max McNown.

I have never seen Jennifer's Body, just not a big fan of Megan Fox. But I did not know it has Adam Brody and Amanda Seifried in it too. Put it on my watch list!
