Good for her.
For my ADHD brain, that sounds like torture lol

How awesome!
I bet it is fascinating to go back and read past entries.
Wonderful discipline.

We dad uses those little bank book calendars and writes down 3 things he does each day. He's been doing it for 10+ years and he is 86.

Good for her. For my ADHD brain, that sounds like torture lol Yeah, I could have never done it. But to think about her journaling Pearl Harbor and to be able to see how every day life has changed for her? Thats amazing. I would love to read it all.

Amazing. I know I could have never stuck to such a commitment. I'm not a writer. I remember the days of writing a couple of sentences for a school assignement, crossing out, rewriting, crossing out, rewriting, and then walking away from the assinment for awhile.

We are making our way through MIL's things and she was a prolific note writer. She had a couple journals that I did not look at, didn't feel comfortable with that. I feel bad throwing away her calendars with all the little notes but it's so much.
All her work on the family tree and Ancestry.com and no one left to fully appreciate it. There are photo albums from the 1910s and 1920s of people we don't know and I just wish there was someone who wanted it all.
But I'm still holding a grudge over her putting me on that family tree and using my 8th grade picture. That feels purposeful...
