I watched their special on tv promoting their new album. Now I am obsessed with some of the songs….lol playing on repeat. Did anyone watch the show? Anyone get teary eyed when Brandi talked about Me Without You? Her video on YouTube of that song is so sweet because her daughter comes in the room and cuddles. Listening to music is such a wonderful way to not think about all that is going on. 🥰

I didn’t watch the show but a video came up on instagram of the two of them together so I downloaded the song. I’ve always been a huge Elton John fan and I really like Brandi too.

I did and I thought it really good. I have been a huge Brandi Carlile fan for a long time and have loved so many of her collaborations…everyone from Tanya Tucker, Dolly, Noah Kahan , etc. And everyone seems genuinely enthralled to be working with her. And of course there is noone like Elton. He could/can be found playing though every time of my life. I was excited when the album was released. I was surprise how much of a press tour they did together as I saw them on a bunch of talk shows.

It’s on tonight in the UK and I will be recoding it as we have company and I will watch it in peace another time. I adore Elton - been to more concerts than I can remember - but I’m not familiar with Brandi. I’m looking forward to watching it 😊
