I am doing some paper sorting and found several 6x6 paper pads that belong with their collection (mostly Carta Bella, Echo Park, and other AC brands). I store these collections vertically, in plastic album sleeves-type holders and I really like that. But I find when I add the 6x6 paper pad, it make them really bulky, to the point that some of the paper is getting slightly bent into a C-shape. Some of the collections have a 6x8 paper pad and a 6x6 paper pad. What do you do with these smaller pads to keep them with the collection? I saw that Creative Memories had a folder but they were expensive and I already really like my storage. Thanks!!
ETA: I am also wondering about the ephemera packs too, since I also stumbled across several ephemera packs that go with the collection. But those are less bulk and easier to tuck in than a 6x6 pad.

can you slip them next to the collection on the shelf? Maybe in a spare 8x8 or 8.5x11 page protector?

I would use a PL sleeve that's divided into four 6x6 sections, then split the paper pad apart to evenly place into the pockets. Then slip the full PL sleeve in with the collection kit.

If you have a place where you like to keep your 6x6 pads together, you could stash it there and then stick a post-it with the collection to remind yourself where it is. You could also put a post-it on the 6x6 if there's stuff from the collection you might want to use with it.

I have these plastic storage drawers that are just about 12" by 6" on the inside of the drawer, and I use those for all of my 6x6 and 6x8 pads. They are one item I do not store along with the rest of a line.
I like keeping them separate because when I'm choosing papers for a page, I find it so easy to just take out a dozen 6x6 or 6x8 pads and quickly flip through them to see if any one of those lines might work with my photos.

I either split them in half and store them with the 12 x 12 paper and put the ephemera on top, or if I have a lot, I split them in fourths and put the ephemera on a piece of 12 x 12 white cardstock with tape and slip that in my 12.5 x 12.5 ziplock. For the paper pads without matching 12 x 12 paper, I use the clear acrylic bins from Target or iDesign and just put them on a shelf.
You can also take a piece of cardboard and put the different sections of the pads you split in the middle of the sections and then that keeps them from shifting in your bag.

I don't purchase paper pads in any size, since I dislike the gummy binding, so I have no personal experience. Also, I'm unfamiliar with "plastic album sleeves-type holders" that hold entire collections. It appears your solutions are either, as Linda suggested, to simply store the matching paper pads outside of - but next to - collection holders OR store smaller paper pads together by brand, perhaps in an appropriate sized container (e.g. clear fridge bin) & affix a color sticker(s) on collection holders with matching paper pads stored elsewhere. The latter approach may also be used for ephemera & enables use of smaller paper pads &/or ephemera outside of their collections, if desired. ETA: (mostly Carta Bella, Echo Park, and other AC brands) For clarity, neither Carta Bella nor Echo Park are brands manufactured by American Crafts. Rather, Echo Park produces both Echo Park & Carta Bella brands.

I meant plus other brands under AC that have smaller pads, like the Shimelle collection, and others Additionally, Simple Stories and other brands. I store my collections in these typle vinyl album storege sleeves, for records. www.amazon.com/Record-Sleeves-4-7-Mil-Outer/dp/B0DFLL5366/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.lXHu-gha2vGYu8ToqspwflhLRNfIJP2aDPZSlUX2qTftA76IvLN_IWtAH0DZOCM8iD8JJSjryGrctpzzDFKGdcGLKxci8jBTyAlMePWwKSnH0D-zYGBHWW8RfD922OyDkBsBVpEl7A4Mo1A8iUZ1LBw8qnbO1Kqno7w-SVUMRqyiHcad9HArZ1mLZMtuMj5Ztsxf27KVvlQHHul2CE6HQEgGwluzbSGTd5-n1ET0owA.7D12amjeoc1T1HmLPeGvEno_Mr6TRtFQhgqFZ6jHbbI&dib_tag=se&hvadid=694283122242&hvdev=c&hvexpln=67&hvlocphy=9019476&hvnetw=g&hvocijid=2373035616512491847--&hvqmt=e&hvrand=2373035616512491847&hvtargid=kwd-600789445571&hydadcr=17978_13446657&keywords=vinyl%2Bstorage%2Bsleeves&mcid=9d2e9490a20230ec93423d63e8ff5721&qid=1745239323&sr=8-2-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9hdGY&th=1Thanks!

Thanks everyone! I am going to try and spilt them and see how that works. I think I have some page protectors that have the 6x6 spots, should have thought of that! Ryann, even Google did not think of that! Did not come up during my searches. lol

If you have a place where you like to keep your 6x6 pads together, you could stash it there and then stick a post-it with the collection This is what I do because I only store paper together by collection - so I put in a note staying "Have the x,y,z that goes with this".

Ryann , even Google did not think of that! Did not come up during my searches. lol The idea comes from YT. I use pocket pages to divvy up my die cuts for collections (mostly just for Christmas as I break everything else apart) for the same reasons you are looking - to get rid of the bulk sitting at the bottom.
