In the oven.
I walk in the kitchen to find a roommate making enchiritos I think they are called. He offered to make me one and I had to omit the cheese and tortillas due to my sensitivities which left the beef and chicken and enchilada sauce. I’m planning to put it in a hamburger bun instead. But how to warm up the meat?
I prefer not to microwave it. Can I just put the meat alone in a little casserole dish and bake it to warm it up? Or will it dry out? It just seems weird to me to only put that in the oven. Both are fully cooked. How would you do it?

if you have an airfryer, I would use that.
otherwise, can you warm it up on the stove, in a pan?
my last option would probably be the oven since it takes so much energy, and warming it up on a baking sheet maybe?

Yes we have an airfryer. Just put it in directly? The oven is going to be used for the enchoritos, so it will already be warmed up.

Oil will cook a hard shell of sorts. Put in a small pan, a little water, cover and bring the heat up enough to make the water boil, turn off heat and let sit for about 2 minutes in the steam.

I know you said you'd prefer to not microwave it.
But since you asked what I'd do, I'd microwave it.Id in no way turn on the oven, waiting for it to heat up etc when the microwave could do it in 45 seconds and use less electricity. Again, since you asked.
Otherwise I guess I'd do it on the stove, maybe add a bit of water.

Ya, i would put it in there and let it warm up a minute or two. I use a liner on mine, so I'd just use a clean liner and let it warm up until its the temp Iwant it. I use my airfryer a lot to warm up chicken or even pizza!

I know you have already warmed up your beef but this was a good question to answer…easy, not political, no right or wrong answer…just perfect. 😉
I know you said no microwave. I am not a fan of microwaving things other than warming up stuff that does not NEED to be crisp, like meats, casseroles, soups, etc. Or cooking some vegetables. I love that you can just do a few seconds at a time to get things hot but not overheated to dry out. Hate to use the microwave for defrosting or cooking of frozen/boxed food.
I hate and will not use the microwave for anything that is on/in bread, needs to be crispy, or is just overall better warmed up slower over a burner or in the oven. We just had this conversation as a family as we were talking about warming up leftover pizza. And the younger generation (my niece and nephew) seem to use the microwave for everything…Blech. 😆

I’ve been using a roll of parchment paper and tearing it to size the whole time.
