Does anyone have the Netflix plan with ads? It is $10 cheaper per month than the ad-less plan. Can you watch the same shows? Any issues? Thanks!

We switched a month or so ago. I haven’t noticed a difference in available shows. We just don’t watch it enough to justify paying more. I do miss ad free though.

I switched a while ago to the ads. There are not too many and they are brief. Occasionally there is a movie that is locked. In about a year I have ran into 2 that I was an bit interested. I could have switched back for a month to watch them and then switched back but I wasn’t that interested.

I switched a while back. The ads are annoying but there aren't a huge number of them. I'm watching Sirens right now and there's usually 3 or 4 ad breaks, each about 2 minutes long. Every once in a while I will want to watch something and I can't because it's not available on the ad plan but it's not very frequent.

We have that plan and I think the only annoying thing is that ads aren’t always placed in the right places where an ad was intended to run. But whatever.

I’m now curious about what movies we can’t watch. Exactly. I have the no ads plan and am happy with it. I didn’t notice that there are things I can’t watch.

Thank you everyone! We are going to give the ad plan a try. We can switch back if we find too many shows/movies that we watch are locked.

Thanks for posting there are a few I would have liked to have watched but since I haven’t watched them yet I probably wouldn’t anyways. A few movies I’m bummed about but not planning to upgrade to see them. Thanks. I googled a few months ago and couldn’t find a list.

I have it and am ready to drop Netflix entirely. I don't think there's enough new content to keep me interested.
One of the things I don't like about the plan with the ads is that the speed is slower and I've noticed that the visual and the audio don't sync. It's annoying. I suspect that they do it intentionally to annoy people in hope that they'll go to a more expensive plan.

I was considering canceling for a few months but found this option and decided to go with it. I still have a lot of shows on my list to watch. Really long list as I haven’t been watching it much lately.

But you are right, I did start noticing that right around the time I switched to the ad plan. Bummer. To be honest though not much Netflix content interests me these days anyway, I may cancel and just resubscribe when a series I'm watching has a new season.

I have not noticed any difference in speed or image quality since switch8ng. The image quality is unaffected. What I noticed is that the audio and visual aren't synchronized. It's annoying to me.

I haven’t had that happen in Netflix yet but in others when that happens I can usually go out of the app snd back in and it corrects itself. I hope this fixes it for you.

Intetesting. Our new plan doesn’t go into effect until this weekend so I’ll see what happens to our quality and report back.

It happens each time I log into Netflix so I think it's a result of the slower speed. But thanks for the suggestion.

I actually watched Netflix last night and I was actually looking to see if this was an issue and it was fine. I hope it doesn’t become one. I’m sorry that is happening to you as it is so annoying to try and watch something when it’s out of sync.

The new movies this month have been really good the ones in Portugal with Ashley Williams and Allison Sweeney. The one from this weekend was good too with the 1 euro villa. These three have been my favorite this year.
