Hopefully some Peas will be able to see it. I read it may be seen as far south as the Texas Panhandle.

Feeling it. So intense. As sensitives we experience solar storms through its energy. Drink lots of water and ground.

I saw a map yesterday that shows a major aurora between 10pm Sunday and 9am Monday. We will have good visibility of it in the southern states of Australia, and most of New Zealand. I'm looking forward to seeing other people's photos of it tomorrow, because I will be asleep!
I follow the Aurora Australis page on Facebook, and they always share the most amazing photos.

Thanks! I used to have it bookmarked. I'm in central CA so I doubt I'll see it this round but I'll keep checking the site.

I wonder what the word "experimental" means in the website for viewing area.

I read that it traveled much faster than anticipated so the aurora is being seen earlier--Sunday and Monday.

I saw nothing because we had serious cloud coverage.

I think it was too smoky here in MN.

We had nothing in NorCal where I live. This is what we had this time last year. This was taken by a man who lives near us.

Problem with auroras this time of year is how late the sun is up in the northern latitudes

I went out about 9:30 and took a couple of pictures. Nothing. It was so clear that I hoped something would show up. I think it may be cloudy this evening and may not even be a possibility. However, the picture I did get showed so many stars. So it wasn't a complete wash. I just can't stand around too long though due to the mosquito population revving up. We have had so much rain, our mosquito issue is just going to be ramped up even more.

naby64 I live in Calaveras County and went out about 10 and looked where I saw it last may and October and you could for sure see "movement" with my phone but there was ZERO color. I went to bed.

Check out the Aurora Watch App? It's brilliant, and shows a map of where the activity is visible. The only trouble is it keeps sending me alerts during the day, which is just a downright tease!
