Thank you for posting this PaperAngel. It's good to see that there are still some lss out there. Kentucky still has one - "Scrap Paper Scizzors" in Georgetown. I haven't been there but plan a trip sometime soon.

I stopped at Scrappin Goodtime in Corsicana, TX on my way from Houston to Dallas a few weeks ago. It's close to I-45 so easy to visit if you are ever headed to/from Houston/Dallas. Wasn't my first time but it has been a few years since I stopped in. It's a good-sized store with a lot of scrapbook paper & supplies all organized my theme. I was able to pick up a graduation paper kit that was actually orange & white (my son's school colors) instead of the usual black & white! She had several different color themes. Card making supplies (stamps & dies) were less. She focuses more on scrapbook supplies. Tons of albums, tools all the latest & greatest. She also has an adjoining retreat in the same building. I've never stayed there but I heard lots of ladies laughing & having a great time while I shopped!
I've also been to Personal Scrapbook in Allen, TX (small but good selection of scrapbook supplies & cardmaking supplies). She carries Honey Bee Stamps products which I love to see in person.
The Crafty Scrapper I usually visit 1-2 times a year when I go to my crafty retreat in January & July since it is in the same town (Waxahachie). Love her store, tons of selection and a good amount of mixed media supplies as well.
I've seen Bella & Grace at the recent GASC show but have not made it to their store yet. I also have yet to visit Big Mouth Scrappers which is about 50 minutes away...I need to make a point to get over there soon!
When I was in Houston I went to Little Craft Place in Spring. Great store that has a wall of washi! Tons of journaling supplies and so many pens and stickers! They do carry a bit of scrapbooking supplies. I saw 49th & Market and a few other lines there. Super cute store!

I visited Everything Scrapbook and Stamps in early June. We were driving home from a Miami Marlins game and had time to stop in.
The store is huge (the website says it's over 6,000 sq. ft.) with a large workspace. I was underwhelmed with the selection, however. They were selling products at full price that dated back to 2008! Does anyone remember the American Crafts rub-on flip books from that time period? This store had them for sale at full price.
I want to support local businesses, and I was able to pick up a few of the Vicki B. Flower Emporium collection. They did not have any of the matching paper.
When I got home, I checked out the website and it looks like they get in new product regularly and it sells out quickly. Everything that is left in the store is older stock... up to 20 years old.

I bet if it was priced more reasonably it wouldn’t remain in the store that long!

dewryce the prices were very high but I am happy to support a local business. I think I paid $30 for three embellishment packs and 3 or 4 pieces of paper.

Oh, I meant the older stuff that obviously isn’t selling if it’s 20 years old and still on the shelf. I’m happy to pay the higher prices of smaller stores, and I wish we had a local one to support as well. But we do visit family around Texas in the DFW and Austin area so next time we go to DFW we’ll have to check out some of the stores mentioned. I also love it when the peas provide links to their local stores when they have an online presence, I didn’t realize so many small stores did.
