I voted you were wrong. I would not have parked there. The woman across the street from me runs an in home day care and there have been multiple times someone has blocked my drive while dropping off or picking up their little ones, when I see this and tell them they can't block my drive, I get the usual - I'll only be a minute. I don't care how long they're going to be - If I want to leave I should not have to wait. Maybe I voted you were wrong simply because I know the frustration of having a similar situation. She wasn't blocking a drive.

I'm going to put my 2 cents in. I live on a cul-de-sac. It's turning radius is so small that it is technically illegal for anyone to part around the circle. Firetrucks/EMT can't get through. We decided not to put up signs telling people not to part there. My lot is a pie shape with just enough grass in front to park one small car. If we do it, we pull all the way off the road (destroying the grass). I have had 3 mailboxes damaged because people park there and then hit my mailbox. I have had people park so close to my driveway that I can't possibly get out of my driveway because the turn to clear the curb in the circle is too tight. I have had to go out and ask people not to park there because I can't get out if they do. As for this guy, he is just being grouchy. It probably was his camper space. I live on a circle (round-a-about).. not a cul-de-sac, so we kinda have the same problem with parking issues. (never heard of it being illegal to park on a circle). It's kinda hard to park on the circle and get close enough to the curb without the back-end sticking out in the street. Last night someone parked right in front of my driveway blocking it. I did have enough room to get around him though. While annoying as heck I didn't say anything since I was able to pull into the driveway and home for the evening. (He could have been a food delivery person that was at the door of the neighbor, which is the usual suspect.. and I don't care about those guys, they are in and out) It wasn't his camper space, they were there shopping and drove away.

We have lawn care vehicles block our driveway on a weekly basis. It's annoying but would I go outside and demand they move their truck? No. But if I was needing to leave, I would get their attention and ask them to move. Nicely. While smiling. There's no need to be rude. Well, unless you are a cranky old entitled man who's unhappy with his life.

I'm the same way, kinda annoying but I wouldn't say anything unless I needed to get out. I know it can be challenging to park a truck and trailer as there sometimes just not enough room for them.

I got in line because it wasn't open yet. And this old guy in front of me says right away 'you can't park there in front of the driveway'. I explained it was not a driveway and the camper is parked and not in use. He says "go move your car", all in my face. I voted you wrong for blocking a vehicle, but it's clearly none of his business. I wouldn't have parked there in the first place, but I certainly wouldn't have done $#*t because some grumpy old man told me to. Fortunately, I would probably not have had to say anything. My kids tell me I can't shut down my face. Seriously, why is it always older men yelling at women? You know, I never get yelled at by women of any age. I have played the, "Would you talk like that to a man? I doubt it." card before.
