If you started as a paper/traditional scrapper and converted to digital, I'd love to hear how you handled the transition.
Did you switch completely, all at once? Did you redo the pages you'd already done traditionally? Did you get rid of all of your paper-scrapping supplies and tools? How did you learn the new techniques?
Thanks!

I can't really give you the answers you're looking for since I still scrap paper as well as digi. In my case I go through phases where I'll only scrap paper or only scrap digi, based on whatever gets my creative juices going at the time. I have certain projects that are fully digi and others that are fully paper.
I haven't redone any paper layouts in digi. If I was really keen to get rid of the bulky paper albums I would probably scan or photograph each of the layouts then just have them printed in a photo book. Any pages that have hidden journaling or additional photos in pockets etc I would probably do a second page with those extra items so that I could still see the full layout.
I learned digi through a free class at Two Peas by Sande Kreiger (sadly not one of the ones still on their youtube channel). After going through the class I didn't touch digi again for a couple of years when I just picked it back up. I'm still learning (shadowing is my current nemesis) but the peas have pointed me in the direction of some good classes or tutorials for things I've wanted to know and the ladies on the digi board are more than happy to share their knowledge.

Like Chinagirl828, I too also still paper scrap. When I first discovered digi scrapping I honestly thought I was a convert and would never touch a piece of paper again, but thankfully I didn't get rid of any of my paper supplies and now I do both. I don't have any method for deciding what layout gets done with paper and what layout will get done digitally-it honestly depends on what I'm in the mood to do at the time. Very often it is a combination of the two-lots of digital elements and lots of paper too and those are probably the ones I like best. No, I don't "redo" paper layouts to make them digital, but I do redo layouts that I'm not happy with and sometimes those layouts have ended up being digital instead of paper! Learning to digi scrap was a long and time consuming effort, but completely worth it! It's made me a better scrapper!

I briefly thought about converting when DS was little but I missed paper and didn't want to be on the computer more than I am now so I kept all of my supplies. I am glad because after doing it for a few months I just missed my paper, stamps and such too much. I don't scrap digital often but do occasionally but it didn't replace traditional for me.

@ pattif Once I started down the digi path that was it for me. No more paper pages. But I do still use my supplies to make cards and other crafty projects. How I got into digi => I just wanted to 'blur' a photo and a friend who and just gone to a CKC showed me how (I had PSE already on my laptop). I also was a subscriber to CK magazine and noticed that Jessica Sprague always did a digi article using PSE. So I went to her site actually looking for photo editing tips. I took a free class on making a digi page. Then I thought how cool it would be to just take a laptop to a crop and not a truckload of stuff. So I bought a series of classes and loved it. I've taken all her digital scrapping classes. I find that I like it better, because I'm not banished to another room and I can edit and re-size easily and best of all no printing photos and a digital paper pack can be used over and over and over. The past week or so on Jessica Sprague's blog JS Blog she's been linking her PhotoShop Fridays for FREE. PSF's are quick lessons that provide the template, the papers, embellishments, pdf instructions and a video. Check it out.

I started all paper, moved to all digi, then went back to paper and now do a mix of digi, paper and hybrid. It depends on my mood. I started digi partly as motivation to learn Photoshop Elements. I listened to the Daily Digi podcast and subscribe to their monthly Digi Files, which gives a great mix of kits for $7US per month. I love Jessica Sprague's blog and her PhotoShop tutorials are great!
I know I'll continue to waver back and forth between digi and paper forever. I'm comfortable with that...whatever drives my creative energy.

I do mostly paper, with an occasional digi layout. I like the tactile nature of 'real' paper and already spend a lot of time on the computer. Does cut down on album storage though!

I started as a paper scrapper, did all Digi for a while, went back to all paper.
Now I'm doing paper scrapping, mostly with Digi supplies.
