I have no idea what the base flavor is, but blue moon is one of my favorites. I don’t get it very often though because it turns your tongue blue. If you go somewhere with a blue tongue everyone knows you had blue moon ice cream! I didn’t realize it was just a Midwest thing.

huh. I don't think I've ever tasted it... but I usually get something really basic, like vanilla with chocolate fudge, or mint chocolate chip. very interesting, the way they tried to figure out the flavors. (and blue diamonds Lucky Charms marshmallows? THANK YOU for someone else thinking the different marshmallows taste different-- I thought it was just me!! lol)

I’ve always wondered if it might be a peppermint flavour-I’m not sure why

I’ve always wondered if it might be a peppermint flavour-I’m not sure why Blue Moon is a combo of raspberry, lemon, and vanilla flavors, but tastes somehwere between bubblegum and cotton candy with a hint of lemon and vanilla. Supermam ice cream is cherry, blue moon, amd lemon.

Never heard of Blue Moon ice cream, but to look at it, it looks like what some places sell here as cotton candy. Although in reading the article , clearly with a different flavor profile. When I hear "Blue Moon" I think of the brewing company or the song.
