... Why does EP/CB make everything so tightly themed? The words just keep repeating the theme over and over. They need to throw in some more generic embellishments that don't have words. Echo Park is always so word heavy. ... Based on responses in new release threads, it appears many of us are fatigued by the entire industry's repetitive & predictable themes, sentiments, icons, color palettes, etc. on a loop. I'm not a theme scrapper, so rarely buy embellishments from any brand due to heavy theming. Despite many companies expanding the number of ephemera packs included in each collection, unfortunately none offer a pack of non-themed labels, tabs, stars/sparkles/asterisks, etc. in the collection's colors.

Pressed Floral reminds me sooooooooo much of Pink Fresh Studio!!! ... Pre-pause, post-pause/PE, or both? Mainly pre-pause. Floral diamond. Pressed golden frames. Full of magic. Taped flowers. Almost exactly the same flowers PFS has used, similar colors and design. Just smaller. Like floral diamond design was used a lot by PFS.

EP - Bookish - I like the sticker sheet. I added that to my cart for using with my planner/journal CB - Feels Like Home - I didn't care for the collection EP - Plan On It - I like this more than I expected. I have a couple papers and stickers in my cart, as well as 2 journal card pages. CB - Pressed Floral - I like some of the B sides. Only 1 sheet made it into my cart.
I have things in my cart, but usually pare it down before I place an order, so we'll see!

PaperAngel I did use book themed papers recently, but for pages about my baby girl. If they made kid/baby book themed collections, I might need it. Eric Carle illustrations?! Yes! Check out the various Winnie the Pooh collections from Echo Park, Simple Stories, Reminisce, etc. released over the last three years (since the original A.A. Milne story & E.H. Shepard illustrations became public domain on 1/1/2022). Other popular/more modern children books/illustrations won't be included in scrapbook collections anytime soon due to copyright (e.g. Eric Carle books/illustrations are copyrighted through 12/31/2091!). Alice in Wonderland is also available because the book is public domain, even the John Tenniel illustrations. Graphic 45 uses those images a lot and I've seen the illustrations used by other manufacturers, too- mostly European companies. I have a weakness for Alice, so I pretty much buy any I can find. I love Tenniel's illustrations. Paper House had a Maurice Sendak "Where the Wild Things Are" collection. I own it- it is really quite nice. It is available on Amazon. Eric Carle did have a scrapbook set at one point. There is one available on Ebay. Amazon has some really nice stickers, though. I don't think we will be seeing a lot of licensed merchandise anymore, now that scrapbooking isn't the "in" hobby it used to be. I'd love to see Mo Willems stuff made for scrapping. I love his books. I teach picture books in my art class and I have a pretty extensive collection of them. I love good picture books.

I think of kids characters licenses that I see all over for clothing/toys/home stuff, and there’s some Eric Carle coming into fashion. My daughter wore a hungry caterpillar costume for Halloween and I’ve seen some clothes here and there. But I see a lot of Disney licensed merch, lots of bluey, lots of marvel. My daughter is still too young to have preferences on characters, but she does seem to like Pooh and Snoopy haha

I am an outlier, I HATE the Bookish color scheme. I also don't like some of the fonts.
I like some of the elements, so I may get a couple pages, we shall see.
I did like the colors of Plan On It, but probably won't get much of it.

Thanks for your responses. CB - Feels Like Home & CB - Pressed Floral: Dislike both collections due to their cream base, old-fashioned style, abundance of florals, & yellows. EP - Bookish: Overall, the collection reads too warm toned, feminine, & floral, but I like the more balanced multicolored plaid. EP - Plan On It: Too many floral patterns, plus girl/babe, caffeine/coffee, reusable cup, floral-adored typewriter, & other trite sentiments/icons. However, I like the color palette - except the mac-n-cheese yellow - & the multicolored stripe, subtle hearts on green, & preppy navy/white stripe patterned papers.

EP - Bookish-- I do document my reading life, so some of this will come home with me. I like the images, cut aparts, and colors, and art style better than the last book themed line I bought (the Photoplay one.) CB - Feels Like Home--at quick glance level, this one does not appeal to me. EP - Plan On It-- not really liking the color scheme or any of the words on this one. CB - Pressed Floral-- nope.

I want some of Bookish
I like the Lovely Lightbulb Die Set, Plan It Paper Clips Stencil, in the Plan on it collection.
Pressed floral is very pretty! I can see myself using these papers because it's not an overwhelmingly large scale like some floral papers. I like the Hanging Frames And Phrases Stamp Set.

I love EP-Bookish, but the other lines? No thanks. Not my style at all.

I love a book line. I’m in three book clubs and I do book pages all the time. Too back this colour palette isn’t for me.

Nope. It would take the perfect storm of designs to get me to buy anything from either of these two designers. The only thing I ever buy from EP is enamel dots, and I always wait to get them at conventions for $2/pack.

I like the colors in bookish- kind of different. I put a couple pieces in my cart that aren’t related to books - the polka dot, mini hearts, and plaid. Didn’t care for the other collections.

I like Bookish quite a lot (prefer the non-floral-invaded patterns & icons of the collection, though; I don’t *hate* florals, but I bristle when they are forced into theming where doesn’t seem they’re warranted) and enjoy the colors.
I am also considering both of the accompanying stamp sets. The fonts are fun, and I liked some of the sentiments more than expected. But I’m admittedly a sucker for book-related stamp sets, so that wasn’t a heavy lift, lol.
