She just recently got married a couple years ago Pretty sure she had biological children as well as a stepchild. ETA from an article online "She is survived by her husband Stuart Claxton, whom she wed on Oct. 16, 2021, and his son, Javier, as well as her mother, Marlene, and sister, Jane, her children Isabella, Amelia and Nicolas, and her brother Ben."

Correct (I thought they were Jane's kids). They are from her previous relationship/marriage

The order of the family members is kind of odd. Mind you, I know nothing about her, just familiar with the usual order of things like this

I did think I read something a long time ago about her having kids though she kept them out of the spotlight. Sorry if I was spreading false info. In any event, it is certainly a sad event and I feel for her family.

I’m saddened and shocked. I swear I feel her in my kitchen when using a knife and forget and put my forefinger out on the blade. I immediately correct myself for fear of her coming at me with her red Sharpie pen. She will be missed.

I always want to stick my finger out on the knife and I hear Anne in my head and see that Sharpie and I quick pull my finger back.

I have one of her books signed with a red sharpie pen! We were on vacation and I had just bought her book at a book store and we were out to dinner and she was there! She graciously signed the book with her own sharpie laughing that she always carried one. No photo together as she said her hair wasn’t styled for that silliness!

I haven't watched Worst Cooks in years but she and Bobby Flay were so fun together. Every time I use a knife I hear "motion of the ocean" and never put my finger on top (red sharpie alert!). Brown food is good! Her facial expressions always cracked me up. She will be missed.

Yeah, I think the kids listed are her sister‘s children. It is worded weird. I will miss watching her on Food Network.

So very very sad to hear this. I was thinking a while ago that you didn’t see her around as much and wondered if she had made the decision to slow down. I really liked her, especially on the worst cooks and the BBQ one with teams. I am actually kind of shocked, wow.

Totally shocked. One of my favorite chefs. I will watch anything she is in. Sounds like it might have been a cardiac event.

So very sad - way too young.
I saw on Threads somebody bitching out the online people speculating - all the anti-vax crowd are blaming vaccinations for it....ugh
Let the woman rest in peace. Her poor family.
