So this bill will extend the tax cuts for the rich and cut healthcare and food aid for the poor….
Unbelievable …
This comes to mind “Let them Eat Cake”
“Her alleged remark “Let them eat cake” has been cited as showing her obliviousness to the poor conditions in which many of her subjects lived while she lived decadently,”

Sen Cramer says openly that they are rushing to vote, if too many people hear about it will be harder to pass it .. they don't like! x.com/neeratanden/status/1939028348564361526Neera Tanden: @neeratanden. Everyone recognize that they are rushing to pass this bill precisely because the public hates it and they want fewer people to know about it -- which is to say they want to bamboozle you. Matt Fuller: @mepfuller · Sen. Kevin Cramer saying the bill “doesn’t get any easier” if it hangs out there during recess is pretty revealing. If what you’re passing is popular, why wouldn’t you want people to know what you’re passing?

Ah the truth comes out… The tax free tips and overtime are still subject to payroll taxes which means they are still being taxed… Democrats win media… ”BREAKING: In a stunning moment, Democratic Congressman Tom Suozzi just exposed the Republican hypocrisies in their reconciliation package. If you watch one thing today, make sure it’s this.” x.com/democraticwins/status/1939022978827583984?s=61&t=j45uMgNk1i8O0YllKF58nw

5 CallsIt takes one minute per call. I know calling sucks, but give it a go. I had to leave more voicemails.

I hope they are also breaking it down into more digestible and easily understood explanations.

I hope they are also breaking it down into more digestible and easily understood explanations. I doubt it, which is part of the issue - most of America needs it spelled out (I admit there are times I need this myself!) and even worse, sometimes it has to be seen/in effect to understand. And of course, then it's too late. (Let's be real - it's too late now).

It looks like the part where they can sell off public lands was removed.

It is disgusting to me that Collins has said she still has problems with the bill and will not vote for it without amendments, but voted for it to go to the Senate. And good old Murkowski of Alaska voting it through because there were special exemptions for her state.
I guess that is on the people that voted for these idiots again knowing what they are like but man our system is so broken.

It wouldn't matter if every single American rose up against his bill. The Toadies in office are so far up Trump's ass and they're going to vote for it anyway.

It looks like the part where they can sell off public lands was removed. If I'm not mistaken, there's still something in there about public land. It's smaller, but will still have an impact: Mike Lee Sucks.

Another big factor is the 10 year AI portion is still in the bill. I doubt the people in the House, who said they were against it and didn't even READ THE FUCKING BILL, won't vote against it based on that though. They've been given their marching orders to get it done by July 4 and that's what they will do. It does not matter that Americans will fucking die. It does not matter that states will not have power regarding AI. "State's Rights" only when it comes to what they deem ok, right?

They are gutless, spineless Trump humpers. But that won't stop me from being a huge pain in their ass and calling them every damn day. We need to vote every one of those yes votes out of office in 2026. Every. Single. One.

I guess that is on the people that voted for these idiots again knowing what they are like but man our system is so broken. It’s worse than that. Murkowski apparently said some stuff awhile back that she fears for her life if she doesn’t vote with the GOP. But people think our democracy is only broken in normal ways (greed) and not Russian style forced allegiance. After what happened in Minnesota, and the way it was just was ignored we should expect more political violence and fear.
