Not into shabby chic or whatever it is called now. Also, can't believe Prima is still making those flowers. I remember all the rage back in the day to have the bottles. I had a mixed pink bottle. Used a few and then it sat, collecting dust. Wasn't a fan of the flowers.

Thanks for sharing - Prima isn't my style so while these are pretty, there's nothing going on the wishlist

Both are cute but nothing I would buy unless it was a little side something or another.

They are both wildly far off from my own personal style.

I might be one of the few but I LOVE both of these especially the Cherry line! So cute and whimsical. Lucky to have FGS as my LSS so I picked up mine this morning.

I occasionally will buy a sheet or two of Prima, but there is nothing in these collections I feel I need to have. I like that the baking line included some icons in the sticker book that are more realistic food colours, but the inclusion of the mice makes me think I would not get enough value out of it.

I had the same thought, but I HATE the mice. I can't express how much I hate the mice, LOL. So, that's a hard no. I rarely buy anything from Prima, as it's not my style.

It’s just too fussy for me. Like Graphic 45 fussy.

I was surprised when I opened the Home Baker link to see that most of the line was, indeed, more flowers. I like the sticker book for that one, but won't go out of my way to find it.
The Cherry Street has way too much PINK for me. I like that shade of red, though, so if I saw these flowers IRL I may be tempted to pick some up. Like many Peas, I collected literally a lifetime's supply of flowers when they were all the rage. Still have some. Still use them occasionally, but don't need more.

The "yarn" spools in the Baker line are calling my name. I will definitely look to pick that up. I think Prima is so pretty but I only want to use that style maybe 1% of the time so I generally pass it by. These are no exception (except for the "yarn," which looks more like twine to me).

It’s just too fussy for me. Like Graphic 45 fussy. Just an aside: I don't find Graphic 45 exactly fussy. It is definitely different than the usual scrapbook aesthetic but it doesn't have that same frilly, vintage, pastel, delicate, cute little animal vibe. I think Mintay and Prima (and now 49 & Market) are fussy. Graphic 45 in kind of in its own lane. I made some nice pages with the really bright collection that has rabbits on it. They have a new ocean collection, too, that is fabulous, and it has very bright colors. A few of my favorite layouts were made with Graphic 45. I generally don't like any Prima except their Halloween collections. Two years in a row they had pink Halloween collections that were to die for (ha! unintentional pun). I loved working with them. But neither one of these Prima collections do it for me, although Cherry Sweet is really pretty. I looked on ACOT for examples of their use and I saw a layout that used the Home Baker to scrap a teenage boy baking. The layout was done very well- it was gorgeous, but I just couldn't reconcile the subject matter and the choice of product line. I scrap a lot of teenage/young adult boys and Prima just doesn't work for that.

The cherry line was so disapointing to me, because I love all things cherries. I might pick up one or two sheets, but the overall look is just too brown or something.
Ok-this might be unpopular, but do not include mice with a food line. Ick ick ick!!!! No way. Not even cute mice.

... Also, can't believe Prima is still making those flowers. I remember all the rage back in the day to have the bottles. ... Same; they've been an industry staple for 20+ years! I remember all those photos of scraprooms where the various Prima flower bottles were definitely part of the decor. I most definitely did not have the budget to indulge in that and I used to be a bit envious. I can remember counting the $$ in my head and being a bit about it. I found a photo in the SB.com gallery. It's from 2006 and the person was showing her collection Prima Bottles from SB.com gallery by Seanna., on Flickr They really are pretty and these are just some of the more basic ones--didn't they eventually have cool shapes and toppers for the bottles? There might be a few of those in the photo also. I did realize eventually that I was not even a "throw Prima flowers on every layout" person anyway, though I admired those layouts. I may have picked up one bottle of flowers that were cream colored or white so I could dye them, and I know I still have a couple of containers, though not the bottles, that had a versatile mix of colors and sizes. I do occasionally still use them, so I'm glad I have what I have.

Cherry Sweet - Beautiful but I don't know what I'd use it for (maybe some type of altered project?). Home Baker - This really is a cute line and I even like the mice. But again, unless I was going to make a special project I don't see it working for me. Thanks for showing us PaperAngel.

You're fortunate to have a LSS (especially owned by one of your favorite designers)! I miss the in-person supply shopping experience: perusing entire walls bursting with a rainbow of Bazzill cardstock, aisles filled with multiple racks of patterned papers, pegs full of embellishments & tools, etc. <sigh>

I also find both Prima & Graphic 45 "fussy" (i.e. overly decorative/detailed) but in different ways. Although both brands are vintage, I agree Prima (like Mintay, 49 & Market - Joanne Bain collections, Arden Creative Studio, P13, Memory-Place, 3Quarter Designs, etc.) is stereotypical feminine, "frilly," "pastel," "delicate," etc. Graphic 45 products, however, "capture the flamboyant style of the 1920’s and 30’s – with vibrant color, irresistible texture and imaginative design" (per its website).

What you just wrote is spot on. I think I just don't consider Graphic 45 fussy because I find it pretty easy to work with, and make layouts that go with my scrapping subjects. I also don't have to fussy cut everything to make it work. But yeah, it doesn't have the "frilly, pastel, delicate" aesthetic. I can see why people can find it difficult to work with, though- it can be quite ornate- so yeah, fussy. I also don't like how they put words in with the paper designs- I never use those papers. I didn't know they were going for a 1920's and 30's vibe. I can see it in some collections, but not others. Ok-this might be unpopular, but do not include mice with a food line. Ick ick ick!!!! No way. Not even cute mice. Not a fan of Ratatouille, then? I like mice. I know people have a real aversion to them, but I think they are cute- even the wild ones. My cat, however, does not. I had a friend that had pet rats, and actually they were pretty adorable, too. I don't want either one in my kitchen in real life, though.

While this beautiful layout shows Prima can be used to document teen/young adult males, I - like you - do not gravitate toward this aesthetic.

Bummer, since you like cherries & it's not a common theme. IMHO this vintage collection with its stereotypical feminine aesthetic, color palette, cream background, lace, imagery (e.g. flowers, butterflies, bows, girls), etc. reads pale pastel (occasionally dotted with pinkish-red cherries).
