Good Morning.
I want to take this moment to officially congratulate our lovely sueg on the birth of her grandson. What an exciting time for your family. How is your sweet little guy doing? How is your ddil? I'm hoping that you'll get to cuddle him and spend loads of time w/him during your visit back home.
Let's celebrate our wonderful karenlou as she celebrates her birthday today. Happy Birthday!!!!May your hear be filled w/joyous, wonderful stuff.
Today I'm going to do almost nothing. I was wiped out yesterday after 3 semi busy days. I will build this big Lego and do some vacuuming.
Not sure what to make for dinner. I have chicken and I have zucchini, so I'll likely sautee something.
What are you up to today?
What's on your menu?
May today be filled w/good news, serenity and happiness.

Happy Tuesday! I've got a slow day at work so I'm almost done for the day, I'm taking tomato soup to my mom at lunchtime because she hates the food there and loves tomato soup. Hopefully, she'll eat both but you never know. I'm still on dad duty until my sister gets home tonight. I'll have him over for dinner and I'm planning on making breakfast for dinner - sausage, hashbrowns and eggs. Happy birthday to karenlou! Hope it's a good one. Hope you all have a great day!

cadoodlebug, that's a saucy meme. Could that potentially lead to many false advertising lawsuits.

Happy Birthday karenlou. I hope you have a great day! Sitting under the steamer at the hair salon. Then I’m meeting a friend at a home decor store that’s moving. So they’re having a sale. They have a lot of vintage things. It’s fun to just look around there. I also need to get supplies for the weekend at the lake. The studio reopens tomorrow so I need to prep for that. I did nothing at home. I wanted to be ahead for my December show. Dinner will be a grilled chicken salad. Dh is in Dallas for the week. So food is easy this week. Thanks for the quilt info **GypsyGirl**. I cannot believe how dirty the soaking water is. Thankfully I have a utility tub next to the washer. I’ll let you know the end results 1 needs some repairs. I’m going to watch some YouTube videos. A new rec center opened here and they’re offering knitting classes but only on wednesdays. So it doesn’t fit my schedule.

Today I'm going to do almost nothing. I was wiped out yesterday after 3 semi busy days. I will build this big Lego and do some vacuuming. Yes, rest and relax. Save up the energy for your vacation. Dinner will be decided when I go to Raley's. Maybe blueberries! Did you see my blueberry harvest? I'll post a pic in a minute. I have been having trouble with headaches and blurry vision. Nobody can find anything wrong with me. So they say it's the computer/phone. I cannot get away from the computer at work, but the doctor contacted me this morning and basically asked me to not use my computer and my phone outside of work hours. So, I've decided that I'll talk a bit here when work is slow but I'll be off board quite a bit. Which is why I missed all the hubbub with sueg 's precious new grandson! And **GypsyGirl** I *still* have not been the quilt guild here. They meet the 3rd Thursday of the month and I have not been able to get there. I want to, though. karenlou have a great birthday! Last night I made a zucchini boat stuffed with lentils, quinoa and tomatoes. Tonight I will do a reprise of the ramen. Jeremy said he would get some chicken for him and DSD. She said my ramen looked good to her.

Hi all, I am sitting in the car waiting to deliver my mom's cat to a college friend of mine's wife. How's that for convoluted? But she had a beloved white kitty some time ago and volunteered to take him. He is a sweet boy. I have mixed feelings...other than finishing the little bit in my mother's place and picking up her ashes, this is the last big thing. There will be more paperwork eventually but this is a big hurdle/responsibility. I set out some pre-made chicken taco meat for dinner tonight. I have class at 6 so we will eat before. Congratulations to sueg on your baby grandson!

jeremysgirl, you need to take care of yourself first. I'm guessing that you'll find lots of extra time for your hobbies, too. I hope that you feel much better and get total symptom relief. teddyw, I'm still a very novice knitter, but check out Patty Lyons. She has good videos that can teach you. leannec, I hope that you find a way to enjoy your day.

Happy Tuesday dinner friends! sueg Congratulations on that adorable new little grandson! jeremysgirl What ever will you do with that abundant harvest of Blueberry??? :-) Limiting your time from screens is a good idea for all of us! Good Luck, I hope your issue resolves. karenlou Happy Happy Birthday!!! tmarschall I'm glad you were able to find a loving home for your mothers cat. Pets are such good company for us as we age, but rehoming them is so hard when it comes time. Tearisci You're a good daughter to feed your parents, yumm tomoato soup and b-fast for dinner. DH has real estate work today and I have a call this afternoon about my promotion/move to a different team. I think the change will be good, but work will be even more hectic for a few months. Dinner tonite is the chicken, rice and veg I didn't make last night, I had some leftover chicken sausage stew that DH heated up last night, so I didn't cook. Wishing everyone a wonderful day ahead!

Mornin' all! I am ALL ALONE today in the office. I can't tell you how happy this makes me. I start my dog sitting responsibilities this afternoon. I am going to have to write a post it note for my bathroom mirror that there is no dilly dallying in the am this week. I have to go over and walk the sweet pup before I head to the office. Happy birthday karenlou!! jeremysgirl, whoa!! Don't get overtired planning what all you will do with your harvest. Sorry to hear about your vision. I am sure you have tried them but have you tried bluelight glasses? I think that is the correct term. I find that my eyes would burn and I sort of linked it to all the screen time. I got some readers that had the blue screen(maybe that is the term I am looking for) and they seemed to help. Have you had a bump on the noggin? If any at point you have been concussed, screen time can exacerbate it. cadoodlebug well, that's might big advertising for blueberries. tmarschall I am glad you have found a home for the cat. Continuing hugs to you. I think dinner will be rechauffe pasta salad but with chickpeas. I decided to go ahead and soak some and use those rather than the cannellini beans. I need chickpeas for something else so that won out.

I can't see your meme on my computer or my phone. 😪 The meme is a picture of blueberries at the store and the tag reads "Orgasmic Blueberries" Im sure you have, but have you gone to the eye doctor to see if they see anything?

I got new glasses in like February and I got a pair specifically computer distance too. I have a tendency to walk around during my day with them on until my work day ends then I put on my bifocals. The eye doctor told me to have both pairs of glasses and switch them every time I get up from the computer to take a break. Im sure you have, but have you gone to the eye doctor to see if they see anything? Yes and they did all those scans of my eyes and can see nothing. It's very weird because I am not normally a headache person. I know I'm very lucky that way, but things have been weird for like three weeks. And there's no black spots or halos either. So my doctor was like try this for a week or so and see if it helps.

(I like to play a doctor on the internet, feel free to ignore! 😂) It's not low blood sugar. Because I am checking that like a maniac. I'm concerned it is low blood pressure. I haven't had a doctor check my blood pressure since June 24. On that day, my blood pressure was normal. But I have one of those Omron monitors. A while back (like 6 months ago), I told the doctor I thought my blood pressure medicine wasn't working because my blood pressure was running high. And she tested my blood pressure against my stored results in the machine and she said the machine was high and my blood pressure was fine. She suggested that the reason was that it had a regular cuff and in her office, they take it with a large cuff. She said that can make the results higher than they really are. And so as of this morning, I have lost 31.5 lbs. And I have tested, all in normal range, but I keep thinking maybe it's low and I need to get a machine with a bigger cuff. And that maybe it's time to reduce my blood pressure medication.

jeremysgirl has anyone suggested Neurology consult? And could this be related to the GLP1? Maybe look up symptoms plus name of your med and see if anything comes back. Almost sounds like an ocular migraine. I had family who got similar symptoms with low blood sugar levels. They were hypoglycemic. I hope you can figure it out and get relief from it soon. Hugs

jeremysgirl I looked up GLP1 and your symptoms for you. One less thing to look at. Common symptoms and advised you speak with your provider. She and I don't think this is it because I took it for two months without this symptom. And it has not been constant. In the past three weeks, I have only had this problem one weekend day. But damn near every work day. But we will see what happens. Obviously if I can't get it to stop, I'll need to stop taking it. I would really hate that because I've really made progress health-wise. ETA: at the very least, it might be being spurred on by something, but the computer/phone is making it worse. That much is very clear to me. I started out fine this morning, but now it's 1:45 and the headache came on about an hour ago.

This will be short today. I came down with something late yesterday afternoon (fever, sore throat, freezing cold and an awful headache that I still have). I’m thinking a summer cold. Had to drop out of my card game and have been napping on/off all day. DD is coming over after work to bring me some soup. I went an entire year being at the hospital nearly daily and never once caught anything! Now that life has finally settled down for me, I get sick. @congratulations to sueg on the new grandson! Hopefully I’ll be back tomorrow feeling better.

I have been spending more time working on recipes, reading, and crafting than on social media. I also resubscribed to Discovery + for cooking shows. I just feel better and typically sleep better too. This whole state DMHC thing has thrown that off but I love to listen to ASMR sounds or rain/thunder to relax and then go to sleep. No more phone. And I stop with phone use 2 hours before bed to let my brain decompress
