naby64: Di you have a link to purchase that sun visor? That would make a terrific Christmas present for both my DDIL’s. DH did a brake job on his friends car last week and in return he gave him a couple gift certificates to our favourite restaurants. So off we went for lunch today for free! We both had chicken wraps and fries. Then we went to WalMart for a couple things and the pet store to get Walker some Milk Bones. He only likes the gravy covered ones and they are hard to find. The temp dropped today to a comfortable 25 C from 32C yesterday. It’s a wonderful reprieve that is supposed to stick around until tomorrow. If it stays cooler tomorrow, we will go for a bike ride. Supper will be grilled rib steak, baked potatoes and salad.

Well, I saw something at Costco I've never seen anywhere in my life: fresh chicken paws! So much better than calling them feet to make them seem more warm and cuddly. I've had them once and that was enough for me. |

Hi we are doing ok. Happy Birthday to all the birthdays J missed. Happy Friday Eve to all those who get the weekend off.
I still have a nasty looking foot and I bought 10 pairs of socks and keep my foot covered at all times. I have photos but I will save you the grossity. If is getting better and I see another doctor again tomorrow which is good. I really wanted to go to two summer festivals this weekend but that’s not going to happen because I cannot walk. It will still take a few more days. Always wear socks in shows and be sure to wash your fabric shoes every so often. 🙄 I mean this is getting old.
Dinner tonight will be pizza as father has Men’s Night and will eat there at the golf club.

Well, I saw something at Costco I've never seen anywhere in my life: fresh chicken paws! A woman standing by the case told me her mom makes bone broth from them. They should call them feet because paws sounds too much like a dog! Anyone ever buy these? Chicken...paws??? Chickens dont have paws. That is a disturbing name! |

Hope he finds a good fit soon. scrapmaven I hope your are able to reschedule your hair appointment. I would be disappointed to go on vacation with my current mop top lol! naby64 - love the sunshade! Another scorcher here today - 40C. Yesterday we spent most of the day on the lake in our floaties and didn’t get out until 9pm. Ditto for today except we are dried off now as we have a severe weather system in the area and I prefer not to be on the lake in a lightning storm 🌩️. We had a mixed bag on our plates tonight. I had a BLT and baked potatoe and DSO had the more traditional steak and baked potato. I had been thinking about a key lime pie I haven’t made in probably 15 years so decided I should make it so we enjoyed that for dessert. |
