I've BTDT twice. I ugly cried both times. DH and I joked that marriage counselors should hang out in the aisles of home improvement stores, as we saw lots of arguments between couples.

I feel this post. My house burned in 2011 and the rebuilding of it, killed my marriage. So CONGRATS!! It's a huge relief when you are in and settled! May you have many many happy years!!

Congratulations on moving in! And I think all that sweat equity put into a home can make it feel all that much sweeter. It seems fully "home" when you've put so much of yourself into making it so.
