One of the employees at J's said they have stopped carrying Silhouette items.
Does anyone know why Silhouette is not carried by J's anymore?

They are downsizing the scrapbook dept is what the employees at mine said. Going to expand the yarn dept or something.

UGH. Michael's better keep carrying their stuff or I won't have anywhere to buy my mats and blades anymore.

Alissa, I learned the trick of using the Cricut mats for the Cameo on 2 PS. I've used the Cricut mats on my Cameo for a few years. I can get all of that at J's.

It seems as if J's and M's are have not cut back on the Cricut products. A local M's store manager said he can't keep the Explore in stock.

Order from Amazon or WalMart.com. Better prices most of the time. WalMart.com will ship site-to-store for free.
Cricut mats can damage the tension on the machine. It would be a problem if you wanted to cut vinyl off the roll without a mat. You also might have issues with print/cut alignment.

The J's and M's near me just started carrying Silhouette items. J's even had the tattoo paper, bigger sketch pen set, and other items I would normally have to look up online to find. I wonder if it just could be certain area's that aren't/won't be carrying silhouette items.

Yeah, I know I can order online, but I usually need it unexpectedly. Like someone needs 250 butterflies for a project and my mat poops out after 20 passes of the same design on the same mat. And then of course I don't have a spare. LOL! So I like the option of buying local and just using a coupon.
I do try to have extras on hand, though. Right now I have 3 blades that I got a super good deal on.

I never think of going to the store to get stuff, LOL! The closest to me is at least 2 hours. I am so glad I can order stuff online! I have a pretty good stash in my craft closet (lovingly referred to as the Crap Closet)

I buy most of my supplies from Amazon. And remember that you can rotate your mat 180 degrees. I often do that so that I use all parts if the mat more evenly.
