TS12 - The Life of a Showgirl

At first I had no idea what this thread was about. I just opened it because I always read threads started by my Animal Crossing friends   -- But just yesterday my dd texted me to say "Mom, Taylor Swift is up to something again." haha Apparently she often drops little hints before an album release, or before announcing an upcoming album...? Anyway... I'm sure dd will send me links as soon as she can.

My dd is a huge Taylor Swift fan. I think she's been to a concert from every tour... I'll ask her later. But she's been going to the concerts since she was in middle school because I remember driving a van full of her friends into DC many years ago. Such excitement! lol. Now that she's an adult and has a job she sometimes goes to other cities. She and two friends flew to California not too long ago -- last year? -- to see a concert there. lol. The two friends are sisters and their other sister lives there, so they all went together. They have some great photos from the plane trip there because they discovered that one of the flight attendants was a huge Taylor fan also. 

The best album release was Folklore because it was such a surprise. Dd had the same comment about "Taylor Swift is up to something" and then suddenly she was standing there shouting "A NEW ALBUM!!!!!" lolol. I loved the surprise element of it. And I like the album. I'm not the biggest fan overall, but I do like her later music after her voice changed. And of course I admire her business sense, and the way she treats the people who work for her, and the fact that she writes her music. Pretty amazing.

when is the release date?!?!?! am i dumb, I dont see it!

I think I saw somewhere that preorders would ship on Oct. 13. 

I follow Nuha (devotedly yours)  on Tiktok and she's the biggest Swiftie, I've learned all the lore from her, lol. I'm a new Swiftie since the Eras tour was all over my feed and although I liked some of her hit songs I never listened to an album.

Folklore is the one that got me. And then watching the romance unfold. I'm all in now, lol.  

She is a mastermind! All the orange easter eggs during the Eras Tour....genius.

I am the WORST at this easter egg thing.  I wonder now where were the clues on the Eras tour?  

I suck at them too, but reading all the posts today with the eggs and Im like "oh ya that could be..."

All of the orange outfits on tour they are saying was a prequel to the announcement.  
She knows so far in advance to tease the Swifties.

It’s been delightful to read all the posts and the way the serious swifties are linking up the easter eggs. Crazy fun.

Are you guy seeing all the cute Instagram posts from businesses? It seems like everyone is celebrating, it is absolutely the sweetest and such a fun thing! Everyone from Betty Crocker to Aldi to every single airline is in on the fun. Sesame Street, Elmo, so many cute and clever takes, I've been enjoying them all day. 

Oh, I bet Kanye is just simmering in his hate and jealousy, and I love it!

Any thoughts on what's going on with her website? 4 variants again, or something else?
