Today is the Wednesdayiest Wednesday that ever Wednesday-ed.
Ds' medical PTSD is active today due to what he will have to go through tomorrow.
Dds infusion has been a shit show with a pocket that formed that caused severe pain at one site so I had to clamp early on (scissor clamps) and removed the needle. Instant relief. So that site needle is chilling in a ziplock bag as the other site is getting more med. (Have to make sure none leaks out. Those scissors clamps are strong) Something went wrong with the tubing and one site got the first 21 mls at once. So second site is now getting its share.
And we woke up to ants all over. The perks of living around citrus groves. 🤦🏻♀️
It's not even lunch yet.
So how's your day going??

I have a headache from hell, have a sore throat and feel like I’m about to lose my voice. Besides that, I’m great!

I'm still grieving over losing my mom this weekend and I'm trying to catch a cold.
Luckily, it's been slow at work so i can pretty much veg and try and recuperate.

I’ve spent all day thinking it was Tuesday so that’s a bit of a pain.

I’m traveling for work and refilled my pill container that I keep in my suitcase yesterday before I left home.
I looked for the container this morning and I guess I left it in the bathroom at home. I take five pills, four of which I’m ok if I miss a dose or two, but not my Effexor. By the time I get home it will be 56 hours since my last dose. I will feel fairly good, but I get this annoying swishing sound in my head.
I can’t believe I didn’t put it in my suitcase!!!

I hope things have gotten better. It's been a frustrating day here with lots of little things going wrong. We are in a hurry to get some things done and I think that makes little things seem worse and makes us more anxious.

pantsonfire I hope tomorrow is a much better day for you! My whiny complaint is I took my grandson in for a look at his shoulder. He fell wake surfing Friday. I was there from 12:30-6 pm! The good news is they did an MRI right there and he has no tears. He just needs a little PT, as they think he partially dislocated the shoulder. He's serious high school hockey player, so he's pretty bummed out. He will probably be back on the ice in 2 weeks.

I’m on my way home from my second funeral in a week. Last week, my aunt passed after being at my house just a week before. When we were at her wake 4 days later, we got word my uncle (her brother in law) passed. They were married to my mother’s siblings. They each gave their nieces and nephews a lot of attention, and it didn’t occur to me until recently that they were both only children so we were their only nieces and nephews. 💔💔
So I agree, a very Wednesday-ish Wednesday. I hope I’m done with funerals for a while.

Hugs. I hope everyone’s day is going better. I hope tomorrow isn’t too bad for your DS.

Well... I woke up to find my high school friends mom who had just posted on Facebook yesterday, died last night. She was a really cool mom... This is the 3rd person/pet who has died on the 12th of the month this year, which DS (16) is convinced is cursed...
DD (18) is in this program at the local college for incoming freshman to meet people/have a mentor. They have been meeting all week, and prepping for a 2-night trip, and kept saying they'd send an informational email that never arrived... so DD thought she had to be there at 10:30 today, then changed her mind it was at 10, then when I dropped her off I got a text it was actually supposed to be 11, and then it turned out it was really 1:00. At about 11 she sent a text that she left her debit card at home, and could I bring it. I searched her room/the house for an hour and turns out she had packed it after all...
I am also missing two pairs of capri pants. They are not in the dirty laundry because I spent all day washing all of it, in the clean laundry, or in DS or DD's room. Unless oldest DD (20) accidentally packed my pants when she moved to college, I have nowhere else to look for them. DH (who folds the laundry and usually gives the wrong clothes to everyone in the house) has no idea.
Yes, it was a very Wednesdayish Wednesday to ever Wednesday.

We got a call this morning that DD's car, which has been in and out of shop for the last 3 weeks has major damage to the engine. They've reached out to Hyundai as apparently it's still under warranty but we have no timeline for when it might be fixed, and she leaves for college on Friday.
Therefore I get to take Friday off from work, drive her to school and drop her off. Thankfully her apartment is within walking distance of school but of course she's actively looking for a job and is panicking about getting groceries etc without a vehicle. I'm spiraling as I hate not knowing. It's definitely been a Wednesday here.
