Master Bath has nothing, the guest bath has a small oval dish with rocks collected from Martha's Vineyard which get washed every two weeks. I just throw the dish and rocks in the sink with soap as I'm cleaning the bathroom. The powder room has one of those oil air freshners with the sticks (can't remember the name) and the bathroom in the basement has a glass vase.

There is nothing on top of my toilet tanks. I do not recall historically keeping anything there, but the few times I have, e.g., left an extra roll of toilet paper on top, my kids have found ways to knock it into the bowl, so forget about it.

Masterbath has a box of kleenex, some charmin wipes and a bottle of homemade Poo Pouri. Nothing decorative. Hall bath has nothing decorative, but sometimes dd will lay her pjs up there while shes in the shower. It would not be unusual to find a curling iron or straightener up there in her bathroom either. Didn't Mythbusters do a show on that? Where they put a toothbrush on top of a toilet for a week and test it for ecoli or something? I can't remember the details anymore... whether it was proven or debunked. Off to look it up. Eta: Found it! Ew... www.discovery.com/tv-shows/mythbusters/mythbusters-database/fecal-matter-on-toothbrush/

Nothing. Not because of a germ factor but just because it doesn't seem like a place to set things.

A basket that holds spare TP.
But if I may answer on behalf of my ex-MIL, she had my favorite toilet decoration. It was a pink toilet brush. The handle was bent at 90° so the brush became a base. A white lace ribbon was woven along the handle and a fake bird nest sat on top of the brush with a couple fake birds in it. I loved that thing.
