Hi, I have the Making Memories paper cutter and was reading elsewhere that others had the issue of the grid lines wearing off. Mine is doing the same and has been, but I just assumed that was normal. I've heard of some folks getting them replaced. However, was Making Memories sold or something? I can't find a site for them.
The paper cutter I'm talking about is the big silver and black one that came with the magnetic ruler.

MM was purchased by Colorbok a number of years ago, and pretty much got rid of anything MM. I'm not sure that you can get any replacement parts with it anymore.

I have two of those trimmers and I love them. Some lines have rubbed off but I can still line stuff up very accurately. I know that MM is no longer servicing their products so you are probably out of luck getting customer service from them.

I won the one I had (Making Memories Idol way back when I was still paper scrapping). I was disappointed as my lines rubbed off within a couple of months and even when I contacted MM they pretty well said tough. Customer service from manufacturers to customers outside the US is very patchy though. I had similar with Fiskars.
My Minds Eye on the other hand - I wrote to mention that I had bought a kit that stated double sided papers on the packaging but it actually contained only single sided. I just wanted them to know so that in the future they could proof read packaging blurb. They actually sent me FOUR COMPLETE PACKS of the Lost and Found Releases. Hundreds of £££ worth of stuff. I was amazed and told them so. They moved straight to the very top of my favourite manufacturers I can tell you!
