As a follow up (to these threads: NEW OA line & OA Santa Sacks), any sightings of the new Saturday Mornings that was shipping mid-December to retailers near you? TIA

I keep waiting for this as well. I am sure ACOT and Bluemoon will carry it when it arrives but I haven't seen it in stock yet. If you check their FB page, OA answered someone the other day asking about the line by saying it had already started shipping to stockists...here is a quote from their FB Page:
OA said: Saturday Mornings have shipped/shipping out to local scrapbook stores now. A quick google search will give you an idea of some online stores that are stocking it such as A Cherry On Top. I am sure there are others, but that is one that popped up that appears to be stocking it now. HTH
Maybe sometime in the next few days?

Thanks impearia for the social media update, especially since I do not participate in Facebook/Instagram/Twitter. A friend, who lives in another state, texted me that she asked about OA Saturday Mornings while shopping at her LSS this morning. She was told the line is expected in their store late next week/early following week, does not include Chip 'n Stick (it was the LSS owner/buyer's understanding that Chip 'n Stick will also be excluded from future OA lines), & brads/tin pins/washi are delayed with an estimated arrival in mid-to-late February. Looking forward to this fresh, new OA line (& hopefully even more products to come)!

Thanks PaperAngel for the LSS update! As i said awhile back in the other thread this line does seem slightly truncated when it comes to embellishments/extras. I am fine without buttons, chip n stick (you can always mount stickers on your own chipboard if you want chip stickers), sew fun banners etc. I am okay with them mixing up their embellishments as well...I do wish it had mini markets because I LOVE those, and an 8x8 pad. I noticed ACOT lists a collection pack for $26.95 but it does not have a photo. Treasure Map which they vaguely say will be out for Spring does have a lot more embellishments listed on their product page: buttons, 8x8 pad, mini markets, chip n stick, sew fun banners etc. I am unsure if that is because it was developed first or because they consider it a more complete line. Hopefully when it comes out they won't have cut those things.

Treasure Map, sigh...believe when I see it. I wonder why it has taken so long.
No more chip n stick? That makes me sad. I love it! That's one I like to buy, for some reason I use it more than stickers, etc.

impearia - My friend specifically asked about the Mini Market stickers, since it's her favorite OA product. The LSS owner/buyer said it was explained to her that Saturday Mornings is a full collection & includes the same products as Public Library, except Chip 'n Stick. However, not all of the products will be included in the initial shipment; it was specified that brads/tin pins/washi will not ship until mid-to-late February. She is uncertain whether the Mini Market stickers that coordinate with this line will be shipped next week or at a later date, since new alphabets - styles & colors added to existing fonts - are scheduled to be released, plus Treasure Map, in the next few months. The owner/buyer also mentioned that she was told the Daily Flash-Summertime line was nonexistent without an indication whether future Daily Flash sub-lines will be added. anonrefugee - Like you, I question the reason OA released Saturday Mornings, a line that did not even warrant a sneak peek, before either Treasure Map or Daily Flash Summertime, both introduced ~1.5 years ago! Hoping it will make its debut early this year, as last reported.

Yeah, forget Treasure Map; what about Summertime?! Hah! I wanted that so badly.
This line is super cute. I know you can search for it on ACOT and add it to your wish lists, but ACOT still hasn't added it to pre-order list on the daily send-outs yet, and they just updated that heavily with today's mailer. It's almost as if they don't quite trust the October Afternoon ETA either.

Interesting PaperAngel ... I am interested to see how this develops because OA has brads listed for Saturday Mornings, but not, for example, buttons or mini markets. Maybe they didn't know until later that the brads would be delayed, while they knew some other things would be much earlier and thus did not list them on the product page at all. Really strange that the tin pins are delayed since they sent those out with the fourth Santa Sack. I did notice, though, that the were not in a full package. So maybe it is a packing issue that is delaying them? I am willing to bet good money that Treasure Map will show up, eventually, probably in the next few months. Sad to hear about the probable demise of Summertime. I LOVED the looks of that line. I still wonder though, like PaperAngel, if they will be adding to Daily Flash as there was a new alphabet (woodgrain!) for it with the December Daily stuff. I really want new OA more than usual (is that possible?! I am such an OA tragic...)because the sneaks from CHA have bored me to tears in general. I am really disappointed in a lot of what I have seen. American Crafts is really rehashing things, and making stuff that is more for decorating than scrapping! So many lines feel like an amalgamated mess. Sorry, if that upsets anyone but that is how I feel. This is why it is even more important to me that companies like OA still exist. Come on OA I am pulling for you!

Thanks for your replies. My friend added her name to distribution lists for alerts when OA (& a couple other manufacturers') products arrived at her LSS. She's already received an OA update indicating the LSS owner/buyer spoke with a different person while trying to find answers to customer inquiries. Although previously being told Saturday Mornings would feature all products included in Public Library, except Chip 'n Stick, the LSS owner/buyer was recently informed the line currently appears on the company website in its entirety & tin pins/brads/washi tapes/rubber stamps will not ship until late February. Compared with Public Library, Saturday Mornings does not include a collection kit, 8x8 pad, Chip 'n Stick, 12x12 alphas, Mini Market stickers, Sew Fun Banners, buttons, clear stamp set, or Miscellany pack, but adds memory cards. I don't know if this means the collection was created at the last minute without time to manufacturer the usual embellishments, the omitted embellishments have been determined unprofitable, coordinating alphas will be included in a larger alpha release, &/or Saturday Mornings represents the new line-up of products for future OA collections (including Treasure Map?). Only time will tell...
tsabhira - Since I'm generally theme-challenged, I buy OA papers for the versatile, classic patterns on the reverse. I like the masculine-friendly color scheme of Treasure Map, but was also looking forward to DF Summertime (especially Blue Skies)! It seems crazy that a company would spend resources to create, reveal to customers, & then quietly discard an entire line without explanation. As you sensed with ACOT, my friend noted the LSS owner/buyer seemed hesitant to discuss OA (compared with another manufacturer she specifically asked about), deliberately started every sentence with "I was told...," & concluded with a reminder that OA's shipping schedules are always subject to change.
impearia - I had forgotten the last Santa Sack contained Saturday Mornings tin pins. It does seem odd that shipping will be delayed, but perhaps it is a packaging issue, the timing of this particular store's order when inventory is low, or a miscommunication. Like you, I'm looking forward to the woodgrain alphas included in the December Story kit & hoping those & more new alpha designs/colors will be available soon. I also find the CHA sneak peeks both a disappointment & reminder of American Crafts' dominance in the industry. Sadly, the once creative & inspiring boutique manufacturers acquired by AC have been reduced to mass produced lines with only different color schemes/names distinguishing them. Given OA only released one line - Public Library - in 2014, I'm hoping the company used the year to improve its business acumen; I agree the industry needs more small manufacturers like OA!

PaperAngel did you see that Saturday Mornings is available at ACOT and Bluemoon Scrapbooking? I am also going to quote myself from another thread (I hope it isn't tacky, but I feel it pertains to this thread as well)... I said: ... I sort of, accidentally on purpose may have ordered the whole collection (except the Tin Pins which I already had from Santa sack #4) from ACOT. They were out of the journalling cards though, grrrr. I would have ordered from Bluemoon, but I noticed something very odd at ACOT. They were offering "Daily Flash volume 3 Alphabets"...three different ones to be precise... Early American and Red Wagon (the same ones they offered in their Christmas Kit, I believe) and Mason Jar (not the same as the original scripty mason jar, I don't think). They had no photos, but I ordered them sight unseen because I am pretty positive what they will be. I ordered 2 sets of Early American because, well WOODGRAIN! I found the wording Daily Flash volume 3 interesting...does this mean that we should expect more Daily Flash lines or is Saturday Mornings really more of a Daily Flash line? Or both? Honestly, the embellishments available and missing) from Saturday Mornings really make it look more like a Daily Flash line. Whatever it is, I don't care. I LOVE it and I need to take a pile of pics of my son wearing his retro batman shirts sitting in front of the TV watching the 1960's Batman TV show.

Note a Collection Kit now appears for Saturday Mornings on the OA website. Perhaps more products will be added to this collection in the coming days/weeks; I'm still hoping for new Mini Market stickers & an 8x8 paper pad! impearia - Thanks for sharing online availability of this line! Good catch regarding the DF vol 3 alphas offered at ACOT; I've been looking forward to a new woodgrain option. While I don't recall previous DF products being categorized in volumes, I also hope this means additional mini collections are forthcoming (Summertime?)...

PaperAngel Yes, I ordered the collection kit before they were sold out! Yes, already sold out at ACOT...I was excited to see that they had one after all. It seems there will be 2 washi tapes and the brads at least to come for Saturday Mornings. I don't know what I will do with Pancake washi tape, but I want it anyway. I am wondering if there won't be mini markets (or a 12 x 12 alpha!) for this line and that the Daily Flash Alphas belong to this line, so to speak. The colours work well with Saturday Mornings ...wood grain, red and aqua. And the Daily Flash alphas come with a medium size font and a tiny block tile in the package. If I remember correctly Daily Flash came out in two groups originally it was something like Group 1: Milk Money, Apple Cider and Egg Nog then Group 2: All Boy, Girl Talk and Snapshots. Now wouldn't it be SUPER AWESOME if volume 3 had Saturday Mornings, Summertime and a new, unseen line? Although if Saturday Mornings is indeed more of a Daily Flash line that tends to mean it won't get an 8x8 pad or some of the other embellishments like buttons. BUT it could mean a 6x8 paper pack which could be cute. I made sure to order the card pack even though I don't do pocket scrapping because I can see them being cute on regular pages.

impearia - Good job snagging one of the Collection Packs; they sure sold out quickly! Although I agree that Saturday Mornings resembles a DF mini line, it is listed as a full collection on the OA website. I hope this means all THREE DF mini lines in volume 3 have not yet been announced! Can you imagine Saturday Mornings, Summertime, plus TWO more DF mini lines released in the next couple of months? Oh, imagine the possibilities - valentines, spring, birthdays, school, friends, teens, sports, etc...

Thank you for your responses. To my surprising, everyone is buzzing about the pancake washi! Happy scrapping... ...They [ACOT] were offering "Daily Flash volume 3 Alphabets"...three different ones to be precise... Early American and Red Wagon (the same ones they offered in their Christmas Kit, I believe) and Mason Jar (not the same as the original scripty mason jar, I don't think). I ordered 2 sets of Early American because, well WOODGRAIN!...And the Daily Flash alphas come with a medium size font and a tiny block tile in the package... In addition to new Shop Front Early American & Red Wagon (both medium sized & block fonts) shown in the OA December Story Kit & Add-On, I stumbled upon images (medium font only) of all three new alphas at Paper Issues (no affiliation or endorsement). I the woodgrain & intend to purchase multiples!

PaperAngel Yay, thanks for the link. They look exactly like i expected. I got 2 of the woodgrain and 1 each of the other two. Hmmm Paper Issues ships internationally. Another store I can add to my list. @crimsoncat Sorry! I know a lot of stores find OA annoying to deal with. My LSS tends to get OA in eventually after it has bee out for months, and they tend to end up missing embellishments. They said they wouldn't stock it anymore, but they keep getting it anyway. I saw an interesting thread on ACOT's message board where they listed the top 10 products and top 10 paper lines for ACOT for 2014. October Afternoon had 2 of the top ten paper lines with DF Snapshots and Public Library, no other manufacturers had 2 paper collections in the top ten.

OA Saturday Mornings & the 3 new Daily Flash Shop Front alphas, especially the woodgrain , may be worth falling off the wagon...err, I mean, uh...Please do not misconstrue this thread as advocating shopping; no purchase is necessary to participate in this discussion. (Psst...Let us know what you order!). impearia - I hope OA recognizes & takes advantage of its popularity with multiple releases this year! IMHO the company has gotten off to a great start, & I'm hopeful 3 new DF mini lines (fingers crossed for sports-theme) will soon be revealed...

Bad news! I noticed both the washi tapes - including the much anticipated pancake design - were removed from the Saturday Mornings product line on the OA website today. [ETA: The washi tapes & image rubber stamps are also no longer listed at ACOT or Bluemoon] @scrappersoccermom reported on the Paper Issues thread that a store owner confirmed OA was not releasing them. I hope this embellishment shuffle is due to poor planning, rather than (although likely inevitable) financial troubles... Just out of curiosity, what is considered Vol 1 and Vol 2 of Daily Flash? Like you, I don't recall previous Daily Flash releases being categorized in or referred to as "volumes." However, impearia noted the release order of the mini lines in an earlier post: Given the new Shop Front alphas are considered Vol. 3, I'm uncertain whether the volumes contain only the general products (e.g. albums/protectors, flash chip, alphas, catch phrase stamps) or also include mini lines. The hope expressed on this thread is the latter, which would mean three new mini lines are coming soon!
