What can I do if I don't remember the answers to my security questions on ITunes?
I'm signing in on a new laptop?

OMG!! good luck!! we had a heck of a time with my dd's ipod when she got a new one. I SWEAR we did not pick the security questions they asked, and I had NO idea what the answers were! ha. We ended up having to start a whole new acct. We tried everything, including emailing iTunes, nothing helped.

Do you have an Apple store near you? If so, go there. They can solve any problem. ![](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/MSZirfLXsDTg15EDMD9C.jpg)

My son had this problem. He got an itunes gift card as a gift and while the account allowed him to enter the card number, he had to have a password to actually use the money. He couldn't remember it, and then the security questions were impossible to answer. He tried emailing the help/support department at Itunes and we never heard back. After it was all said and done, he never was able to use the money from the gift card. ![](//storage.proboards.com/5645536/images/rpAaBAQhjSFZt4YtPRu4.jpg)

I can't get into my iTunes account. DH set it up when I first got my phone but he made the password so difficult that I can't get it to work and he doesn't remember what exactly he did to make it a "secure" password. I'm dreading going into the apple store. I'm not a techie person and it's an intimidating place

don't be afraid of the apple store - have been there many time with dd and you won't believe the questions that they get. I have asked a few myself, I am not a techy person either.

Ah yeah, I am 99.9% positive I was answering the security questions correctly, or that I didn't pick them at all.
I had so many attempts they locked me down. I put in a support ticket, they called me within 1 minute and walked me thru it all. I will say they were really good.

I had that problem and I called (or maybe they called) and worked it all out. I hate that apple is all proprietary (just yesterday I was complaining about their stupid cords) but they have super CS.

When DD got her iPad, we attempted to sync it with our iTunes account and it kept asking us security questions even though I had never set any up!!! And, it is impossible to reset the security questions by yourself. Finally, we called tech support for Apple and we got the problem resolved. So annoying!

That's us right now! New computer and I swear I never did any security questions! I can handle most computer problems, I mean I've installed hard drives etc. But this blasted iTunes/iPod thing makes me want to pitch the thing out the window!
