Had a great weekend trip down to OR. I went with three girlfriends and we stayed overnight in Tigard...we would not have been able to hit all the stores if we didn't stay overnight.
Kim's Crafts and Scrapbooking in Scappoose. Small store and she also rents U-Haul equipment. Super friendly and it looks like she hosts some fun crops. I had trouble finding things to buy there though.
Molly's Craft Shack in Vancouver. Another smaller store but super bright, clean and organized. Seems to really focus on Copics and stamps. Very little scrapbook paper. Super friendly customer service.
The Peddler's Pack in Beaverton quite a bit of paper, but lots of stamps and dies. Seems more stamp oriented. Had Copics for $5.25 if you bought 6 or more.
A Joy Forever in Milwaukie - OMG fabulous store. A TON of inventory, lots of new stuff...really rows and rows of we'll organized patterned paper and a large cardstock selection. Tons of embellishments. We were trying to only spend 30 minutes per store and I barely scratched the surface of everything they had. Well worth the drive.
Craft Warehouse in Gresham - sort of a Muchael's like store. Decent selection and well stocked and organized. Thought they were a bit pricey....69 for a sheet of Bazzill cardstock.
Main Street Stamp and Stationary in Tigard. sort of a combo Hallmark, office supply, stamp and scrapbook store. Not a huge selection of scrapbook supplies. Had a neat spinning rack with four sides of 12x12 drawers for their cardstock.
Runaway Arts and Craft Studio in Salem. Super friendly customer service. Nice eclectic mix of stamping, die cuts and scrapping. Shopping here made me happy because of the staff.
Urban Paper in the Dalles. About a two hour drive from Salem. Gorgeous views and scenery. Pretty large selection and the owner was very engaging. We ate at a fabulous French bistro across the street.
Scrap That in Fircrest, WA. Smaller store in the back of a tiny strip mall. Looks small at first but she has a great selection of new stuff, great cardstock selection and good sales on older stuff. Had the best photo op where you could use props and take photo booth type pictures that she printed for you. Really goofy and a perfect way to end our weekend.
6 more stores to visit this coming Saturday.

Glad you liked A Joy Forever, it is a really nice store and the owner has had some really tough times! On 2 separate occasions in the past year or so someone drove into the store! Fortunately no one was hurt either time, but you saw the parking lot, it just doesn't make sense how it happened, not once, but twice. Massive damage both times, just crazy!
I need to stop by there this week!

Loved A Joy Forever, wow what a huge selection of scrappy goodies! I had heard about the car driving thru the front last year...crazy.
We managed to complete all 25 stores. It was a little close at the end as we got to store #25 15 minutes before we closed.
Saturday we went to:
Running with Scissors in Kent. They did such a nice job re-opening the Nook. Loved that every product was brand new and so very spacious.
Ben Franklin in Monroe. It's an ok store. I think the Redmond one is better.
Art n Soul in Lacey. Not much in the way of scrapping stuff. I really had to search to find something to buy. I did love the Thai food place next door...great for lunch.
Hen's Den in Rochester. Just a teeny tiny place in the back yard of a residential area. But, what a treat when you go inside. The owner is incredibly talented and sells a tin of mini album kits which she had designed...just beautiful. Almost all Graphic 45 papers. Normally they are too busy for me, but she did a fabulous job with them. Only open on the weekends.
Cindy's Simple Stuff in Centralia. Another small store setup in a garage area next to a residence. Lots of cute things, but I would be challenged to only shop there.
Artco in Tacoma. Similar to a Ben Franklin. But, they have great prices on Bazzill dots cardstock...$.50 a sheet. Good selection of newer stuff.
I wouldn't attempt all 25 stores next year. I think I would hit my favorites...Running with Scissors and a Joy Forever and maybe a couple second favs (Collage and Hen's Den). Redmond Bens is my home store and I go there about once a month.
I am glad we did it though. It was a ton of fun spending time with my girl friends and meeting all the store owners. Even crossed paths with other chasers a few times, it was fun to compare notes. But, at this point I have enough supplies to carry me through a couple years of scrapping!

I was in Kent this weekend visiting family and thanks to cmpeter knew exactly where to go in my free time. LOVED Impress Rubber Stamp. I could spend days in that store. The displays are inspiring and so cute. I wanted one of everything. However, I didn't buy a single stamp as I have dozens and dozens at home that I rarely use. Instead I bought several metal dies made by companies I'd never heard of before, along with several rolls of washi tape. I could drop some serious money in that store. Running with Scissors is a great store! I bought some Graphic 45 and (more) washi tape. (Hello, my name is Scrapbookwriter, and I am addicted to washi tape.) I was there on Saturday (National Scrapbook Day) and received a raffle ticket with purchase. They called me on Monday to say I had won a gift basket! Yay me! Sadly the prize was all old and discontinued product. No matter. It was fun to win. And since I was there anyway, I bought a little more Graphic 45 Running with Scissors is so close to my relatives' home that I could walk there. Such a happy place
