I have a ton, but seldom use it. Should I get rid of most of it? Not the pretty ones, of course!

Yes. Most of my cards need fiber and hardware (most brads).

I have done both, kept a lot and gotten rid of a lot. Yes, I really did have that much! I love a piece of ribbon on my cards and used some on both of the last two cards I made last week.

I use it and I'm sure that if I got rid of it I'd need it for something.

Oh, yes I use ribbon and other fibers on my cards. Sometimes that is just the right touch.
Actually, I use everything that I have acquired over the years. I have never gotten rid of anything because it is no longer the trend. With card making it seems you just add to your stash and use as desired instead of switching out.

I do sometimes and have way more ribbon than I'll probably ever use! ... and I keep buying more!

I do.
And DH is trained to keep every scrap of ribbon, string, etc that he finds!

I love ribbon on cards! I do use it fairly frequently and in the same way. Just tying a simple not as an accent embellishment to the card. Very classic design...
I'm pretty picky about the type of ribbon I use as well. I wouldn't say I'm a ribbon snob (LOL!) but I do only buy a high quality ribbon. My favorite ribbons are ones that match the paper or inks I'm using.

Oh yes I use ribbon on lots of my cards. It can make a so-so card into a really pretty card. I must have miles of the stuff and yes I still buy more.

Okay, got rid of a bunch of ribbon, very proud. And some of it was butt ugly!

Okay, got rid of a bunch of ribbon, very proud. And some of it was butt ugly! Way to go. If something is ugly it should definitely go. And if you feel overwhelmed by the amount of something you have it is probably best to at least reduce.

Yes, sometimes. But I try to keep it fairly flat so they can go through the mail undamaged. Most of my cards go to Operation Write Home, mailed by me, or sit in a box for a long time, LOL.

I don't use it on cards anymore and never really did for other projects. I've stopped buying it, which is an accomplishment, but I need to purge some of my immense stash. What I can't/don't want to give away I'm going to try to use for gift wrapping. It's hard to let the pretty ones go, though.

I used to use quite a bit, but now I hardly ever use it. Maybe on a tag, maybe some baker's twine.
I have two drawers full of it. I'd like to use more of it for wrapping gifts.

I like using ribbon on my cards. Even on my mini albums as well.

I love ribbon, but I have my share of "what was I thinking?" rolls. those I use on gifts - I wrap most of my gifts in plain tissue paper, and I really like the look when it's tied with real ribbon.

I love ribbon on my cards! I love adding a bow or a strip of ribbon. I think it adds a nice bit of texture to what may be an otherwise flat card.
