I've been looking at a lot of fashion pinterest posts and blogs, but so many of them are geared towards young women.
Does anyone have any great blogs or pinterest boards geared towards fashion for women? I'm tired of seeing the same look of skinny leggings, tee shirt, big scarf and boots.

I'd be interested to know too. I was browsing a fashion message board recently and every single outfit posted looked the same, like this:
I looked at page after page, trying to "get it". Then just caved to the reality that I'm just not in my twenties anymore!

I think that is just what is in right now.
I like the blog Pinterest Told Me To. She does link quite a bit to Nordstroms. I am beginning to suspect that her husband works for them or something! The Pleated Poppy blog has a what I wore linkup on Wednesdays.

The blog Putting Me Together has some nice ideas. I also like The Pleated Poppy like someone else suggested.

Age really isn't a factor in the skinny jeggings, boots, long shirt, scarf trend. I follow fashion blogs of women from their 20s to their "Golden Years" and I've seen that look on just about all of them. It's the style right now. It'll pass eventually, like they all do. If it's not your style, do you know what is? Or are you searching for your style and only know that you don't like that? I will say that for for some time I didn't think that look was for me because of my body type. It's entirely possible that I look worse than I realize but that "Mom-on- the Go" formula, as I've seen it called, is a life-saver and super comfortable. You might want to try it.
These are some good places for ideas:
Get Your Pretty On- She has challenges you can join for a small fee but more than that, she makes the current styles accessible and understandable. She's classy too, by which I mean, even when the pants are skin tight, it's done well.
Cindi Spivey has a website called Walking in Grace and Beauty- I believe that she's a minister's wife but if that's not your thing, it's easily moved past. She's over 40 but she wears it well. Classy, comfy, but yes, there are boots. Go to the What I Wore/ My Style section.
You Look Fab- can be a great resource but I think you have to have so many posts before you can look at the pics people post. I'm certain it's probably to cut down on trolls but I'm not going to up my post count for that. But if that's your thing, between the blog and forum, the amount of helpful info is amazing. She's a professional stylist and the other members are super helpful and positive.
Last but not least, you can go somewhere like Pleated Poppy for the What I wore Wednesday section where other bloggers post their stuff and you can be directed to their stuff. It's helpful for finding new blogs that you wouldn't have otherwise.
HTH and have a good time with it

I have seen blogs of women in their 30s or 40s with toddlers/young kids and they research jeans, etc. Of course I didn't save them, and I just learned how to use pinterest this summer, so I didn't use pinterest when I saw the blogs!

Some of my favorites are:
Seersuckers + Saddles Respect the Shoes J's Everyday Fashion What I Wore Lilly Style Veronika's Blushing Respect the Shoes
I read a few more, but they wear the most expensive things! I like the ones that have clothes that I can actually afford.

The Pleated Poppy blog has a what I wore linkup on Wednesdays. Dude. Her outfits are pretty good, but she makes a lot of cray-cray face in her pictures. She's got a fake smile thing happening that's a little off-putting. And, she could get commission if you purchase something linked from her blog/Pinterest/Instagram. Not that there's anything wrong with that at all, but it might explain why like, 75% of her stuff is from Nordstrom. But, yeah. Cute outfits!

Thanks for the replies, sorry it took so long for me to return. I just wasn't feeling very well yesterday.
I'll check out these different blogs. I want to tweak my wardrobe a bit, but I want to look like a proper grown woman when I go out, not like I'm wearing leggings and huge lounging shirts.
